Australian singer Sia has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Daniel Bernard, marking the end of their marriage just a little over two years after they tied the knot.
The couple, who married in December 2022, have reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, according to court documents obtained by a source.
What came as an additional surprise to many fans was the revelation that Sia and Daniel had quietly welcomed a baby together. The child, a daughter named Somersault Wonder Bernard, was born 11 months ago.
This is particularly noteworthy since Sia has previously been open about her struggles with infertility during her prior marriage to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang.

After dating privately for some time, they married in an intimate ceremony at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s luxurious Villa Olivetta in Portofino, Italy, with only four guests present.
Before her marriage to Bernard, Sia made headlines for adopting two teenage boys from the foster care system in 2019.
She revealed the adoption publicly during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up in 2020, proudly sharing that both boys were 18 at the time and had been at risk of aging out of the system.
She expressed her love for them but also admitted that the adjustment was difficult for both young men, with one of them struggling more than the other.
