The death of Toby Kirkup was certainly something that people didn’t expect.
The aftermath of the actor’s death has been made all the more complicated after a toxicology report found traces of cocaine in Toby’s system. The family has negated any such speculations stating, that Toby has been clean since going to a rehab facility in South Africa almost ten years before his death. The report has further revealed that Mr. Kirkup celebrated his birthday and used recreational drugs and alcohol just over a week before his untimely death.
The Actor’s Family Has Raised Concern About His Medical Treatment
As per reports, the Peaky Blinders actor asked for medical assistance after he started having chest pains as well as a strange tingling in his arms. He was soon diagnosed with gastritis and was asked to go back to his West Yorkshire residence. Sadly enough, the actor, Toby Kirkup, went on to die that very day after an aneurysm ruptured, causing his death.
Given how the actor died, Toby Kirkup’s family wanted a coroner to look into his death after they raised speculations about his medical treatment while he was in the hospital. It was further stated by his family that the actor died as a result of being wrongly diagnosed, as the focus had been on his stomach pain rather than the chest pain that Toby complained about.
Moreover, his family further showed concern after they claimed that Toby’s medical assistance was allegedly based on a perception of excessive alcohol and drug use. The family members further questioned why Mr. Kirkup was sent back home with lifestyle advice and asked to get some Gaviscon. It was later reported that cardiac procedures were properly followed. The person who investigated the issue stated that he understood the reason for the discharge.
