The newest Crayon Shin‑chan movie is taking the beloved characters to an exciting new place: India. Titled Crayon Shin‑chan the Movie: Super Hot! The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers, this animated film is the 33rd movie in the long-running Shin‑chan franchise. For the first time, Shin‑chan and his friends will go on a wild and funny journey in a country filled with music, dancing, and spicy food.

The movie will be released in Japan on August 8, 2025. Indian fans will not have to wait too long either. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters across India on September 26, 2025. It will be shown in four languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and the original Japanese with English subtitles. PVR INOX Pictures and Happening 365 are bringing the movie to Indian audiences, making it a fun event for kids and families all over the country.

In the story, Shin‑chan and his friends from the Kasukabe Defense Force enter a dance competition. To everyone’s surprise, they win. As a reward, they get to travel to India, which is called “the nation of dance” in the movie. From the moment they land, their trip is full of colors, laughter, and chaos. They see elephants, try spicy Indian dishes, and even greet people with a friendly “namaste.”

But their fun adventure soon takes a strange turn. One of Shin‑chan’s closest friends, Bo‑chan, finds a strange backpack in the shape of a nose. When he puts it on, he changes completely. Bo‑chan becomes “Bo‑kun,” a powerful and bossy version of himself who wants to control everything. The group is shocked by this change and must work together to save their friend. Using teamwork, dance, and a lot of silly tricks, they try to bring Bo‑chan back to normal and stop him from taking over.

The movie mixes Indian culture with Shin‑chan’s signature humor. Fans can expect funny scenes with chapatis flying through the air, exaggerated dance numbers, and characters copying famous Bollywood moves. There is even a fun reference to the movie RRR, which adds to the excitement. The creators made sure to show India in a colorful and respectful way while still keeping the lighthearted tone of the Shin‑chan series.

Super Hot! The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers is directed by Masakazu Hashimoto and written by Kimiko Ueno. Both have worked on past Shin‑chan movies and understand the characters very well. The animation is done by Shin‑Ei Animation, the same studio behind the popular Shin‑chan TV series. They worked with TV Asahi, ADK Emotions, and Futabasha to bring this movie to life.

To make the Indian release even more special, there will be some unique collaborations. Lotpot Comics, known for famous Indian comic characters like Chacha Chaudhary, is teaming up with the Shin‑chan brand. For the first time, Shin‑chan comic strips will be translated into Hindi and printed in Lotpot magazines. This will allow even more children to enjoy Shin‑chan’s jokes and adventures in their own language.

Super Hot! The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers Premieres September 26 in Indian Theaters

Indian fans have loved Shin‑chan for many years. The show has been dubbed in multiple Indian languages and is a favorite among kids. With this movie, Shin‑chan’s connection to India becomes even stronger. By setting the movie in India, the creators are showing their appreciation for the fans who have supported the character for so long.

The film’s music also adds to the fun. The songs are lively and inspired by Indian dance music. The characters wear bright and colorful costumes, and the scenes are full of energy. Whether it’s a group dance in the middle of a crowded street or a silly moment with Shin‑chan pretending to be a Bollywood hero, the movie is full of moments that will make audiences smile.

Crayon Shin‑chan has been entertaining viewers since 1990, and the character’s popularity has only grown. With this new movie, the creators are trying something fresh and exciting. By combining Japanese animation with Indian culture, they are creating a fun story that brings two different worlds together.
