The fans’ respect for Serena grew exponentially after the last chapter, when Serena managed to face her traumatic memory with a bold demeanor. The death of her parents was not something she could just forget and it is obvious that she clearly remembered the face of the man who was responsible for the tragedy.

Recap
In the previous chapter of Serena, we saw that Serena got dragged off to some unknown place by a bunch of guys. She had been kidnapped and her focus was mostly on how she can escape first. On the other hand, Raoul seemed to have an inkling about what had happened to Serena and began working on tracking her down.
Serena found herself tied up in a room with strange men keeping their eye on her. By the way they were talking, it was obvious they would’ve tried to do something to her if their boss hadn’t ordered them to keep their hands off of her, which is a relief for Serena at the very least.
She was glad that she got caught instead of Sue, who wouldn’t have been able to keep her wits together. Serena could feel that the mastermind was coming soon. She recalled having the same feeling as when she was an eleven year old girl when she was with Slicewind.
Meanwhile, Raoul and Eiser try to come up with a plan and Raoul mentions that it would be hard to find Serena if it was Victor who had her kidnapped. He had a ton of secret properties and safehouses, so it wouldn’t be a quick process. Victor asks Raoul to track down any calls from the mansion and have it done in three days.
On the other hand, the mastermind finally appears and Serena freezes up when she sees him. She couldn’t forget the eyes of the man who killed her parents and she was still scared, just like her eleven year old self. However, she gets her wits together and gives snarky reply to Victor, despite her fear and trauma.
