Satoshi has done a fantastic job of showcasing the plot of saving humanity, and even though it has shifted the magazine in between and has come to an end, the manga is still really popular, and the long-awaited anime of the series is making its way.

Sengoku Youko Episode 1 is going to the first installment in the series which is set to be released very soon. About Sengoku Youko
Sengoku Youko, as mentioned earlier, is based on the manga of the same name, which was created by Satoshi Mizukami. The manga first began its serialization in December 2007 and finished in May 2016. The manga series had its ups and downs in the magazine shift, but it did come to a conclusion sooner or later.
The anime adaptation of the series was announced in August 2023. The anime will be animated by the White Fox studio, and it will be directed by Masahiro Aizawa, with many other know and rookie making their way to create this anime.
While we are not expecting a top-tier animation, White Fox has done a number of works that are pretty decent. There are hopes to see Sengoku Youko come forward due to the narration of the anime.
Speaking of which, the plot of the upcoming Sengoku Youko anime focuses on a rather very fictional plot with two types of living species co-existing. One of them is humans, the other being a monster called Katawara, and naturally, there is a conflict among them.
However, the narrative follows a Katawara who loves the human and her brother who is the exact opposite of them. In addition, there is also a swordsman who wants to be stronger. When a plot threatens the humans, the journey of the trio is to save the human beings.
Release Date & Where to Watch
Sengoku Youko Episode 1 is going to be released on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at 00:00 hrs Japanese Standard Time. Following are the various times for the same;
- 07:00 hrs Pacific Time (US & Canada) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.
- 09:00 hrs Central Time (Mexico) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.
- 10:00 hrs Eastern Time (US & Canada) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.
- 02:00 hrs Australian Standard Time (Australia) on Thursday, January 11th, 2024.
Sengoku Youko Episode 1 will premiere on the local Japanese networks first, which include Tokyo MX, ABC, Mētele, and BS Asahi, and after this, the anime will make its way to the other Japanese networks.
An hour or two later, the episode will then be available to stream on streaming platforms, including Crunchyroll outside of Asian regions and one Ani-One Asia in Asian regions.
