The chase scene is started by the mimic, who is dressed as the tiger mascot. Cassie must follow Gregory’s instructions until she has passed the green mushroom door leading to the lift. They turn left there. Cassie moves on into the scooping chamber, assuming the hidden ending is revealed.
When Cassie pushes the button, the Mimic gets picked up while it is pursuing her. The credits start to roll. You can suppose that Roxy and Cassie can now leave the Pizzaplex in safety. You can infer that it would be safe for Cassie to depart at this point regardless of whether Gregory is or is not the final voice in the typical ending that allows the lift to fall.
