This musical youth drama tells the story of Levi and Han Joo. Levi is a K-pop idol whose contract with his company is coming to an end. However, as fans do not love his music anymore, he fears that he might not renew his contract.
He comes up with the idea to collaborate with the popular social media singer PLII, but the problem is she doesn’t reveal her true identity. The real person behind Plii is Han Joo, who hid her identity as a singer from her family. By a twist of fate, she happens to be Levi’s classmate at university.

Recap
In the last episode of Secret Playlist, Han Joo recalls how she used to enjoy her mother’s singing during her childhood. Her mother was the best singer and instructor she ever knew, and she was the sole inspiration for her getting the title of PLII. She explains the whole reason to Levi why she had to hide the fact of being interested in singing from her father and other family members.
Han Joo tells Levi how, after she was born, her family condition started getting bad in her father’s hometown, and they made her move there. But her mother had to give up on her dream of singing on stage. Her mother suffered for nine years and then left home to follow her passion for singing because the hometown was hell for her.
Levi happily wakes up the next morning and goes to the office to sign his contract with R Kon Entertainment. He gave the good news to the CEO that he had convinced Etuber, and they would soon release a duet song for the next comeback. Levi is excited as it was his dream to work with PLII, and he hopes his comeback will be storming well.
