Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement, also known as Rōgo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-Man-Mai no Kinka o Tamemasu, anime to be aired is based on the Light novel of the same which began serialization in 2015, and it is still present. There is also a manga adaptation of the Light novel and the anime adaptation was announced in July 2022.
The series’s premise follows an 18-year-old girl named Mitsuha, who hasn’t been having good days due to her family dying in an accident. Now with no one who can take care of her and some people who are after her parent’s insurance money, Mitsuha is perplexed about whether she should go to college or start working.
As the cost of living in Japan isn’t cheap, Mitsuha has to make a big decision. Suddenly, she is given a “jumping ability” from a godly being that allows her to jump through this world to another world. With this new ability acquired, Mitsuha has made her goal in life to save 80,000 gold in another world for her retirement.
