The American Sitcom, “Saved by the Bell,” was a popular primetime show of the 90s. Writer Sam Bobrick originally created the show for kids and teens, but it was loved by kids and adults alike. The show revolves around the main character Zack Morris, a student at California Bay Highschool. Morris and his friends are a bunch of troublemakers who are often caught by their principal Mr.Richard Belding. The series follows Zack and his friends and their unending shenanigans.
Other than comedy, the show also focuses on various social issues like drug addiction, drunk driving, women’s rights, relationships, death, and various environmental issues. The show quickly gained a massive audience and became one of the top primetime shows on NBC. Looking at the success of the show, NBC released two spinoff series with the same name, “Saved By the Bell: The College Days” and “Saved By the Bell: The New Class.”
The show dropped its first season in 1989, and since then, it has made us laugh throughout its four seasons. Dustin Diamond is known for portraying the character of Samuel Screech Powers in “Saved By the Bell. ” After his appearance on the NBC sitcom, Dustin started his career in stand-up comedy and even went on a number of tours. He was also a part of several reality shows like “The Weakest Link,” “Celebrity Boxing 2,” and more.
The Saved By The Bell actor was an avid follower of professional wrestling and even participated in the 2008 Celebrity Championship Wrestling. Elizabeth Berkley portrays the character of Jessie Spano in “Saved By The Bell” and even won the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast for her role.
