Rurouni Kenshin is a samurai-centric anime television series that can be considered an underrated gem. Rebooted for the second time after the release of the success of the anime in the late 1960s, it originally was the adaptation of a very popular manga series in the community.
This anime is based on the Meiji period, which is the most loved period in all Shounen anime series with loads of action. With season 1 just released, Rurouni Kenshin has been doing a great job in bringing the nostalgia of the 1960s back to the era of technology through the beauty of the story of Himura Kenshin, a skillful swordsman on a limitless journey across Japan who reaches Tokyo to help people that are in need.
A trusted samurai at work, titled Hitokiri Baattosai by the political activists of Japan, gets into huge trouble when an imposter causes mayhem in the city using his name. This makes Himura’s duty to solve the case and find and execute the imposter for his unethical criminal activities. As the popularity of Rurouni Kenshin rises once again, we will discuss all that you need to know about this anime series and the release of episode 4.
Rurouni Kenshin Recap
Story of Rurouni Kenshin till now not much of a significant update to the story, while it sort of feels like a filler episode. Episode 3 of Rurouni Kenshin can be considered an ordinary episode. In this episode, we do see Myojin becoming a disciple of a dojo that Kouro runs while things seem to go well for the dojo despite the recent civil events. Things did go out of hand at times which were dealt with gracefully by Kenshin.
Kenshin had his banters with Yakuza and Gunen Gang in the episode this time, which saved a lot of chaos from happening. The post-credits scene of episode 3, although, does have some matters to discuss.
The post-credit scene featured an unknown man beating up the Gunen Gang brutally while he mocks everyone by questioning if there is someone strong enough to challenge him or not. The next episode is expected to have a face-off between this mysterious man and Kenshin, which will well be interesting to watch.
