Aoki Ruri had her third dragon trait experience, which involved electro-static shockwaves. She was surprised by this new ability and called her mother to tell her all about it.
Ruri’s homeroom teacher paired her up with Maeda for clean-up duty. Unfortunately, Maeda seemed to avoid talking to Ruri.
RuriDragon Chapter 7 starts with Ruri finding out she’s got her third dragon power electro-static discharge.
Her classmates see sparks flying from her, making them all curious and excited. The classroom gets lively as everyone talks about Ruri’s new ability, setting the stage for more interesting things to come in the story.
But then, out of nowhere, the electro-static discharge suddenly stops, leaving Ruri puzzled about what just happened.
Following this surprising event, Ruri’s homeroom teacher suggests that she should go to the nurse’s office just to be safe.
Ruri talks about the incident with Yuka, who advises her to call her mother. Taking her childhood friend’s suggestion, Ruri dials her mom’s number and tells her what happened.
Although she only gives brief explanations over the phone, Ruri promises to share all the details once she gets back home.
During the class break, Ruri starts to feel overwhelmed by the challenges of being a half-dragon, with problems popping up one after another.
However, she finds comfort in knowing that her “dragon traits” aren’t bothering Yuka. Just then, Kashiro shows up and lets them know that it’s almost time for class to start again.
After the class, Ruri’s homeroom teacher approaches her. He explains that one of the students who was supposed to help with cleanup duty is absent, and he asks Ruri if she can take their place.
When Ruri asks why she’s the one chosen for cleanup duty, the teacher simply explains that it’s because she was the first one he saw.
Shortly after, Ruri realizes that her partner for the cleanup duty is none other than Maeda, the girl who had ignored her earlier.
when Ruri tries to chat with Maeda, she gets a surprising response Maeda tells her not to talk to her. This unexpected behavior from the girl leaves Ruri feeling shocked and puzzled, even as she rides the bus home.
Once home, Ruri decides to ask her mother about her third dragon trait. The chapter closes with the revelation that dragons have the ability to call lightning.
Expectation
The new chapter of RuriDragon is all set up with the big reveal that dragons can make lightning! So, we might see Ruri’s mom explaining this cool power to her in the next part.
Ruri has another issue with Maeda, who doesn’t seem to like her. So, in RuriDragon chapter 8, we might see Ruri telling Yuka and Kashiro about what happened between her and Maeda during the cleanup duty.
