Married At First Sight Season 10 has only 32 episodes released on the Nine Network. The first episode was aired on 30 January 2023. 24 contestants, making 12 couples, go through the experiment and decide whether they can survive together even after the show ends.
The contestants get paid for being in the show and not for winning it. The matches are made by two relationship experts, Mel Schilling and John Aiken, and one sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.
All couples went for the homestay across the country in the 30th episode. Alyssa Barmonde informed Duncan that she would be unavailable every Wednesday and weekend because she has a child. It left Duncan James worried about his relationship.

Married At First Sight Season 10 Episode 31 (AU) Story Breakdown
Layton Mills and Melinda Willis will stay in Brisbane at Melinda’s place. Melinda expressed how she felt rejected and unseen in the previous commitment round. She hopes Layton to feel free during this week. Layton is also using it as an opportunity to know her more before going for the commitment.
In Berth, Bronte Schofield is busy showing the best beaches and serving home-cooked meals to her husband, Harrison Boon. Their togetherness seems to be worth it.
Bronte has changed a lot during the homestay, Harrison has noticed it, and they both are glad (as of now). However, Harrison knows that she is swinging between her love for her hometown and Harrison.
According to Harrison, experimenting will be easier than staying in Sydney for Bronte. But Bronte accepts the truth before entering the show, and she wants Harrison to believe her. Harrison seems to be ready for the separation now instead of doing it after getting closer (mentally closer).
As it was not enough, Bronte’s sister, Kirra, comes to test their relationship more by bringing a set of questions. She had already put the stage on fire by informing Bronte about how Harrison had asked another girl for her contact number.
The meeting starts with moving to each other’s place and ends up digging up the previous issues. Harrison plays the victim card, according to Kirra, and gets out. He cannot explain why Bronte must move to Sydney. Bronte removes her ring and utters the word ‘divorce.’
Rupert Budgen and Evelyn Ellis go to a local restaurant to meet Evelyn’s mother. Evelyn trusts her mother’s opinion and guidance. Meanwhile, Rupert buckles his shoes to impress Evelyn’s mom. However, their conversation gets serious.
Rupert wants to feel connected to Evelyn to move with her. This confession hits her hard because they had got physically closer. Lyndall Grace complains of not getting enough affection from her husband, Cameron Woods. Lyndall wants Cameron to at least hug her and say that he cares for her and he does not want to lose her.
Ollie is busy getting adjusted in Sydney. He finally gets a lonely spot on the beach to spend quality time with Tahnee. They remember their first meet and the romantic date at home. He sees a long future with her.
Married At First Sight Season 10 Episode 31 (AU) Review
Melinda has such a nice house with room for enough sunlight and an awesome city view through the window. Coming back to the topic, it is weird to see Melinda deciding to go home over a small dispute. The dispute started with an open cupboard door. Layton must let her go as he cannot apologize every time for every small mistake. On the one hand, Layton feels Melinda cannot handle her emotions.
On the other hand, Melinda wants him to get more emotional. Layton, who is mature enough, will have a hard time with the word ‘emotions’ if he goes ahead with Melinda.
Harrison gets screwed, and his face turns red during the meeting with Kirra. However, we notice the smile on Kirra’s face as the pressure on Harrison increases. Finally, she seems to be relaxed when he gets out of the restaurant. Bronte shows her readiness to move to Sydney, but Harrison does not seem to be ready to take her home.
Ollie ends up entering a single room divided into a bedroom with a big bed, a tiny kitchen, and a toilet. But it is funny to see how he pretends to like it as he knows Tahnee pays more than him for that space.
Ollie and Tahnee may have a long way ahead if they get comfortable in the uncomfortable room. Tahnee rubbing Ollie’s ears before licking her finger and talking about the toenails represent increased comfort among them. Ollie is happy with what makes Tahnee happy. He does not show his opinion, and we don’t know whether the reason is love or his nature.
Lyndall was right on her side. We cannot see the chemistry between her and Cameron. He only says that it is his nature and keeps quiet. So, the main question, what Cameron feels about Lyndall, remains unanswered.
It is saddening to see Lyndall craving for affection. On the other hand, we know that she will be happier after getting separated from Cameron if he does not love her.
The youngest couple is Tahnee and Ollie, whereas the power couple is Melinda and Layton. The contestants have already drawn pictures of their perfect partners and perfect lives. So, disputes arise when these dreams do not get fulfilled. Understanding is the key, but not every couple gets it.

Final Verdict
What happens to the relationship between Melinda and Layton is unanswered. Lyndall may stay happy alone rather than expecting love from Cameron, though he says it is only his nature. Only Ollie and Tahnee look interested in growing old with each other. The homestay week has helped the couples get physically closer. But, hardly any couple got mentally closer.
