Rent-A-Girlfriend Chapter 311 is releasing next week ! Originally, the chapter was supposed to come out on 20th, but due to the Christmas break, the authors have shifted it a week later. Fans are excited for a new adventure in the manga as Kazuya finally gets his chance to confront Chizuru.
In the previous chapter, Kazuya was freaking out when he got to know his grandmother had rented out Chizuru for a shopping date, as he too wanted some alone time with her. As fate may have it, the chapter ends with the two of them along with Yaemori, going to one of the biggest sales event in Japan.
Rent-A-Girlfriend tells the story of a heartbroken Kazuya Kinoshita who had been dumped by his girlfriend of one month. In hopes of finding some upliftment, he downloads an app that lets him rent a girlfriend for a day.
There, he meets Chizuru or Mizuhara, who he instantly falls in love with, but it seems more than one person get in the way of their relationship as the Rent a Girlfriend app has made him quite popular!
Recap
The chapter begins with Mami worried about Kazuya and Chizuru’s relationship. During her trip outside, she saw Chizuru walking alongside Kazuya’s grandmother, and the two seemed quite happy with shopping bags in their hands.
Mami is conflicted about her feelings, and is scared of Kazuya and Chizuru getting back together as she still likes him. She wonders if its only Kazuya’s grandmother who’s close with Chizuru or if the whole family just likes her and accepts her as the girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Kazuya finds out his grandmother had rented out Chizuru for a day and went on a shopping date with her. He is devastated when he finds out because he is still unsure of where his relationship with Chizuru stands as of now.
Further, if his grandma were to say something wrong to her during their date, it would make things difficult for him to fix. He didn’t want Chizuru having a bad impression on the Kinoshita family as they’re renting her out to talk about personal stuff with them.
He leaves his grandmother’s house and on arrival, is greeted by Yaemori dressed in a rather short school’s uniform. It’s only morning and Kazuya already has to control his eyes from seeing something unwanted. He asks her why she’s dressed in uniform and Yaemori replies saying she’s cosplaying.
She asks if he’s free by any chance as she’ll be visiting an event called “Saleholics”, and participating as a sales girl while cosplaying. At first, Kazuya denies saying he must only have eyes for Chizuru, but eventually gives in and says yes.
Yaemori says she’ll be inviting Chizuru as well so the two of them go to her place to ask for her assistance. She begs Chizuru and asks her to come along and help in being a sales girl. All she had to do was cosplay a bit and run errands here and there.
Chizuru denies at first saying she has a nail and hair appointment later in the afternoon, so she won’t be able to join them in the event. However, as her desperate last hope, Yaemori reminds Chizuru of the favour from last time, which shocks her.
She tells Yaemori and Kazuya she’ll call the esthetician and cancel both her appointments for the day to help them as a sales girl. It seems that Yaemori’s trick came in handy and Chizuru is ready to return back the favour.
