Akira found out that the Yonozuka city ruin had been discovered by other hunters in the previous chapter. Readers are curious to find out how Akira and his team would claim the ruin in Rebuild World Chapter 53.
Gyuba was not moving from behind the car Alpha suggested Akira that Gyuba had probably not noticed them. Akira thought that it was even better for them since they could easily kill them in that position.
Akira was carrying Sheryl with him, but when they reached near the vehicle, they got ambushed by Gyuba. It was a special accelerator, so it lasted only a few seconds, but the effect was amazing.
So it seemed like Akira was just standing still. Gyuba believed that Akira could not react to his speed. He considered it as his win, but he got shot in the stomach.
Gyuba was surprised because, according to his calculations, even if Akira reacted to his movement when he was using the accelerator.
Gyuba thought that he would still be faster since he was using the heavy CWH. So Akira switched his gun in that one moment; Gyuba realized that Akira was much stronger than he thought.
He finally understood why the rest of them lost to Akira; Sheryl was shocked when Alpha realized that they were in a dangerous situation.
Because Alpha had not shot for him, he would have died. He thanked Alpha for helping him out. The vehicle was working, so they could finally get out of there.
Since the vehicle was made for wasteland it was not surprising for them, that it was very rough. Akira warned Sheryl she should hold on tight because of the bumpy ride.
They were going to leave the location since they were getting attacked by monsters from everywhere.

Akira knew that he had a long way to go; Alpha told him they should get stronger together. They arrived at their rooms safely. Akira realized that he did not know they would kidnap Sheryl to extract information about the Yonozuka station ruins entrance.
It was very unexpected for them. Akira had no clue they would go as far as to threaten slum kids to get information on an untouched ruin.
Alpha suggested to Akira that he should not worry too much about it because Sheryl helped them while being fully aware of the risks.
She reminded Akira that he managed to save Sheryl and killed the culprit, so there was no need for him to worry too much about the matter.
Alpha recalled that Akira once told her that he did not have the time to guard Sheryl all the time, and the rest was up to her luck.
She believed that Sheryl’s luck was bad but not worse since she still managed to survive. Akira told her she was right because both Sheryl and his luck were not on their side during the mission.
Alpha told him she was always by his side, so it was going to be fine, and he mentioned that they could only do their best.
Meanwhile, Sheryl was too tired. She considered that she was too naive for not thinking that they would not go that far to get information about the ruin.
Sheryl was sure Akira still had not given up on that ruin, so she decided to do better next time. Dale found out the bodies of the Gyuba and others. He could tell that Gyuba got beaten up by his own game.
Dale informed Viola about the entire matter, but he was not sure what Viola was trying to achieve by feeding information to Gyuba.
