The announcements came during the Ballroom 20 presentation featuring Alan Ritchson, Maria Sten, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Greyston Holt, and Jasper Jones. Prime Video also confirmed the release schedule for both series, ensuring that fans will transition directly from Reacher into Neagley without a lengthy wait between shows.
Reacher Season 4 gets its first trailer and August premiere date
Prime Video confirmed that Reacher Season 4 premieres on August 12, 2026, launching with its first three episodes before shifting to a weekly release schedule. The season finale arrives on September 16, the same day all eight episodes of the Neagley spin-off will become available worldwide.
Based on Lee Child’s 13th Reacher novel, Gone Tomorrow, the new season follows Jack Reacher after a chance encounter with a distressed stranger aboard a subway turns into a deadly conspiracy. The investigation places him against powerful enemies operating at the highest levels while forcing him into another dangerous mission.
Season 4 also expands its cast with Sydelle Noel, Chris Marquette, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson joining Alan Ritchson.
Prime Video confirms Season 5 adaptation and Neagley’s next chapter
One of the biggest surprises from the Comic-Con panel came when Alan Ritchson revealed that Reacher Season 5 will adapt Lee Child’s 20th novel, Make Me. While production details remain under wraps, the announcement confirms that Prime Video is continuing its long-term adaptation of Child’s bestselling thriller series.
Maria Sten followed with another franchise expansion, announcing that Lee Child and bestselling author Yasmin Angoe are co-writing the first-ever Neagley novel, titled Zero Margin. The book is scheduled for release in March 2027, giving the popular character her first standalone literary adventure after years as one of Reacher’s most trusted allies.
Neagley spin-off begins immediately after Reacher ends
Prime Video also debuted the first teaser trailer for Neagley, which stars Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, the former member of Reacher’s elite 110th Special Investigations Unit.
The new action series follows Neagley after a close friend dies in what appears to be a suspicious accident. Determined to uncover the truth, she launches her own investigation, using the military training and investigative skills she developed alongside Jack Reacher.
The cast includes Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman, while Alan Ritchson will make a guest appearance as Jack Reacher.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, both Reacher and Neagley are overseen by executive producer and showrunner Nick Santora, with Lee Child continuing to serve as an executive producer. With a new season, a spin-off, and an original novel all arriving over the next year, Prime Video is significantly expanding one of its most successful action franchises.
