In the last chapter of Reemployment Life with an Unsociable Untalkative Magician on March 5th, 2023, Lucille, our protagonist, is showing worrying about her old boss, Mr. Nizea, coming to where she worked right now. We can see that she is paranoid about it after meeting her old colleague. Lucille goes into deep thinking after she notices how her sensei is always calm and composed and how she would like to be like him as well. She also thinks about how much she likes working where she is right now.

The scene cuts to Lucille bathing and wondering how good it is that she can take a warm bath despite being a servant. She somehow falls asleep on the sofa after getting ready for the night which is when Phyllis, her sensei, walks out noticing her. Despite her saying that he was calm, he too was worried about her resigning from this job.

In the morning when Lucille is watering the plants, Sensei sneaks up on her and asks her a question, we can notice all the animals around her that were previously noticed in the chapters before — crow and cats — but when Sensei asks them to leave, these animals do which makes Lucille wonder if they were his friends. Lucille starts noticing that their current employer is way kinder than people expect him to be.

When Lucille is trying to find the soap bars that smell like the one that sensei gave her, she is confronted by her old boss, Mr. Nizea, who asks her to come back with him to which she declines. But Mr. Nizea keeps on pestering her and instating that she liked him, which is a lie. He starts guilt-tripping her before the weather suddenly changes and Phyillis, her sensei, comes to the destination, showing his magic for the first time ever.
