The delay means players will have to wait roughly two additional months, but the new December window could give the game more room during a particularly crowded release period. The team also confirmed that development is continuing ahead of launch, with new information arriving soon.

The next major update will come on September 22, when Ubisoft and the development team are scheduled to release a Game Overview trailer. Selected creators and members of the press will also publish fresh hands-on impressions on the same day, giving fans a closer look at what the remastered platformer offers.

The official statement thanked fans for their patience, support and trust while the teams continue polishing the game.

Rayman Legends Retold is now scheduled to release on December 3, 2026.
