Ranker’s Return Chapter 99 will continue where it left off, with Kang going on in a fight against Cancun. This is right after the events where he finally got to pay his family’s debt and move on in his life. Though, given how much it was, it seems impossible that it would have been achieved in one lifetime.
After all, Kang was employed as a store worker while his family debt was 150 Million, and it wasn’t even his father’s fault. His father was set up by his colleague to fall after which he went into a vegetative state, leaving all the responsibilities to Kang. But Kang isn’t just anybody, he used to be the strongest player in a VMMORPG and he was the best in it.
He had decided to quit the game some years prior when he got bored of it. But now, the game has announced that one can earn a living through it thanks to the new monetary system they have applied. Kang decided to join the game again and pay off his family’s debt, with the intent to revenge against those that wronged his family.

Ranker’s Return Chapter 98 was a comeback that Kang had always been waiting for. He gets to meet his friends at a reunion and they discuss how their life has been treating them. The center of attention was of course Kang who had come out of debt and was wearing fashionable clothes.
But there was one person that not happy with the sight if it were not for Kang, he would have gotten that attention. It is none other than the company friend whose father betrayed Kang and stole the company. But Kang came out victorious (though he hadn’t told them how yet) and that wasn’t sitting with the betraying family.
We got to see Kang show off his wealth and make the guy feel belittled at his game. Making him leave with humiliation as he realized that his wealth was not enough to make him stand out anymore. Kang and others tried to laugh their laughter at this as all this took place, it was a comedic event in their eyes.

Ranker’s Return Chapter 99 Spoilers
Ranker’s Return Chapter 99 will be a new fight as Kang is forced to fight Cancun for he got tricked with a low reward. He had finished his previous task and was about to return when he got the offer. He just wanted to wrap up the matters until he got the price, a price that was useless to him.
The Ogre that had assigned him the request promised him he would give him a better reward if he chose to fight. Reluctant at first, the seduction got to him as he realized there is a better reward in waiting. Kang will get to experience firsthand just what fighting an Ogre is like and the difference in their strengths.
However, Kang has had plenty of level-ups and achievements on his side, along with items to skew the favor to his advantage. However, the fight will not go in that direction as the intent of the fight is to check raw strength. We will see Cancun use the lessons put into practice and especially the aura that was talked about by the end of the last chapter.
