Randy Keith Orton is an actor and professional wrestler. Randy was born on 1st April 1980 in Tennessee, America. He is the third-generation wrestler in his family after his grandfather Bob Orton, his uncle Barry Orton, and Randy’s father. Bob Orton Jr. Randy started his wrestling career by participating in Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling and the Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association.
And was later signed with W.W.F. (World Wrestling Federation) on 18th March 2000 and joined Ohio Valley Wrestling (O.V.W.), where he earned the title of O.V.W. Hardcore Championship not just once but twice.
After wrestling in Ohio Valley Wrestling (O.V.W.), Randy gained his place in WWE as an Evolution in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) member. His first official appearance in WWE was on 16th March 2002, after two years of signing with W.W.F. He lost his first-ever match in WWE against Tommy Dreamer.
But his first victory was soon after, in the first match of WWE, which was aired on television where he defeated Hardcore Holly on 25th April 2002, but this time on SmackDown Live. But soon after, in September 2002, he was sent to R.A.W., where his first match was against Stevie Richards; where he had a glorious win against Stevie Richards but got his shoulder injury and didn’t appear for the next few months.
After returning to R.A.W. after a few months due to his injuries, Randy joined the R.A.W.’s stable Evolution team, where he was part of Triple H, fan-fav Ric Flair, and newly entered Batista. Throughout the Evolution team, Randy helped Triple H to defend his World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton rose to fame and made an image as a new emerging youngster and the future of WWE by disrespecting elderly wrestlers and calling himself a ‘Legend Killer.’
Randy’s Achievements:
Randy Orton became the youngest WWE wrestler to win the title of World Heavyweight Championship and created history in the WWE industry just when he was 24 years old. Randy’s most controversial match was back at his young age when he challenged ‘The Under Taker’ to a fight. He said he was unafraid of him and would surely defeat him and break Under Taker’s steak of not getting beaten in WrestleMania.
Randy Orton vs. The Under Taker, on the 21st anniversary of WrestleMania, is considered one of the greatest matches of all time in the history of WWE. Randy, the newcomer in the wrestling world, couldn’t handle ‘The Dead Man,’ the unbeaten ‘The Under Taker,’ and Randy lost that match. But later on, Randy Orton and his father, Bob Orton, at the event of No Mercy in SmackDown Live, both managed to defeat the undertaker in a two vs. one Handicap Casket Match.
Now talking about Randy Orton’s signature move, the Randy’s Knockout, popularly known as R.K.O., was delivered in the air and could break the opponent’s jaw. R.K.O. was one of the favorite signatures of the audience of WWE. One delivered R.K.O., and the fans would probably know that was the end of the match and that death was the move.
In his career at WWE, Randy paired with many other WWE wrestlers. One was the Rated-RKO, a tag team between the Edge, who called himself the Rated- R Superstar, and Randy Orton. The team was formed after Randy’s return from a severe injury in 2006 and lasted till 2007, just for one year. Another group was formed between 2008 and 2009 and consisted of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. It was a three-man tag team, which generally played Triple-Threat-Match. They called themselves ‘The Legacy.’
Undoubtedly, Randy Orton is one of the G.O.A.T. the greatest of all time in the history of the WWE Franchise—the wrestler who won four times the title of World Heavyweight Championship and three times the WWE Champion.

Randy Orton Receives Instructions to Stay Away from Wrestling
Former WWE champion Randy Orton’s wrestling career is in doubt following advice from his doctors to refrain from returning to the ring. Orton, who last appeared in May 2022 before undergoing back fusion surgery, has not competed for nearly a year due to injury concerns.
In a recent interview, Orton’s father, WWE Hall of Famer ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton, said medical professionals advised his son against resuming his wrestling career. However, he acknowledged that Randy would ultimately make his own decision. With the introduction of a new WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the company wants its top stars back in action.
His ability to deliver consistently upon his return is a concern. Orton doesn’t currently have any long-term plans with WWE, and it’s unclear how his absence will affect his contract. Orton was not selected in the most recent WWE Draft, indicating that the possibility of his comeback is still far off. Matt Riddle, one of their former tag team partners, has switched to the R.A.W. brand.
