Who does not enjoy putting their lives in extreme danger for a little fun? It is these guys who have signed up for the show Race to Survive Alaska, a reality competition show set to premiere this year. With easy rules and a difficult surrounding environment, eight teams are going to be taking part in this race to survive a little more than a hundred miles of inhospitable terrain.
The show has courageous adventurers and survival experts all together in different teams just for one end goal. A cash prize of five hundred thousand dollars. Funny what a man will do for money. The participants are allowed to bring whatever it is they can bring that they think they will help them survive the harsh outdoors, after which they set out on their route to danger.
The show claims and actually even looks like one of the toughest competition show that has been created in a long time. Each episode will have a new challenge that the team of experts will have to survive, all the while also fending for food and a place to sleep.
The teams will have to get in touch with the primal human instincts to protect themselves, find their way along the unknown territory, and fetch themselves food and water. The teams will face the vast ranges of mountains spread over miles, age-old glaciers, dense forests, untamed wildlife, and the freezing cold weather as challenges in the show. Sounds like the perfect vacation.
