My Hero Academia can be considered as one of the most popular and classic anime shows that is existent in the world right now. The plot of the tale focuses on a character named Izuku Midoriya. He wants to become a Hero and is pretty young during the initial stages of the series. Well, despite all his wishes, the lad lacks a quirk and thus, is seen getting bullied by his violent childhood friend called Katsuki Bakugo. The youth in this fantasy land has one and the only Hero named All Might, who is the most powerful person. Izuku and All Might soon happen to have an encounter with each other.
It was because Izuku is aware of a critical injury that All Might is going through but is hiding from the public eye in order to maintain his reputation. All Might has a quirk called One For All. Given the fact that Izuku, without giving a single thought to his own self throws himself in the face of danger to protect the people around him. Impressed, All Might passes down his quirk to Izuku and goes on to retire. Hereby, Izuku starts his schooling in the UA High School in order to learn more about his quirk as well as be able to control it. Well, this is how the story of Izuku started. But imagine, what would happen if you had quirks?
If an ordinary person like us had quirks with different abilities from others, of course, how would we ever use it? If you have watched My Hero Academia, I bet you know pretty well that being a hero is a very honorable task. You get all the benefits such as fame and blessings from the people for saving them from potential danger. Although there are so many quirks to chose from and it might be difficult to make up your mind about one certain quirk that you want to be a part of, right? I mean, they all are so powerful and creative that having these superpowers would be impossible to defeat a person once they learn how to manage their abilities. Well, here we have carefully curated a quirk for each one of you. It is based on your birthday month.
January
Quirk – Explosion
Katsuki Bakugo was the user of this quirk on the anime show. This is an emitter type of power that only works in close range. All the January people can claim to this quirk. This power will allow them to excrete nitroglycerin exactly in the form of sweat. They can emit this from their palms themselves, and once you learn how-to, it is also possible to ignite these explosions of various shapes and sizes. On the show, we witness Katsuki using his Explosion quirk in order to create a fiery shock wave. These can actually be highly powerful and can ruin the enemy. Whatever these flames hit, it is either burnt to the ground or completely shattered.
Now, all the January people can consider themselves immune from the damage caused by this quirk. Also, you guys can use this quirk when your enemy has the power of Dark Shadow. Given the fact that it has light involved, it will greatly counterpart the shadow bits which thrive in the dark. Also, the more a person will sweat while using this power, the stronger it will become. This means that, during a fight, the power of Explosion will gradually increase due to the increase of sweat. A person will surely get tired and sweat more while being in such a physical activity.
There is also a weakness to this ability. It is hard to use the ability during the winter season as we sweat less during this season. Also, if you happen to use Explosion a lot of times, there will be immense pain to the shoulders as well as arms, just like we saw Katsuki bearing them on the show. Using both hands to cast an explosion is not beneficial either because it generates weaker energy than what should have actually been. Also, if you guys happen to lose any one of your hands, the quirk is lost forever.
February
Quirk – Brainwashing
It was the power of Hitoshi Shinso on My Hero Academia. This is again an emitter type of quirk and is performed with a voice range. This type of power will allow its owner to put its subject in the state of mind where they are forced to obey the respective orders. Well, if you February people want your enemies to get brainwashed into agreeing to everything you say, all you guys will have to do is target verbally at the opponent. They will have to respond to something that you have said.
Also, if you are wondering whether or not you will be able to have normal conversations with people without taking control over their minds, then I want you to know that yes, it is possible. Only the owner of this quirk is able to activate the power whenever they want to use it and even deactivate it. Also, there is another added benefit to brainwashing. The Hero can have more than just one person under their grasp while they are using this quirk. There is obviously a lot of mental concentration involved in this power because you will have to connect to the mind of your target. Once the quirk has been activated through your energy, the victim will start to feel dazed. They will complain about the fog in their brain, and this is the cue.
Although, the opponent will still be aware of the fact that they are being brainwashed into doing what the February people want. They will look completely spaced out, and even the eyes will turn milky white. They will have no control whatsoever over their limbs and will and are going to do whatever their commander will want of them. There are some weaknesses to this quirk as well. We see that Hitoshi is generally not able to use his subjects to perform some very complex brain activities. These people are not able to talk or think on their own. This means that information cannot be revealed to the other person by just brainwashing them.

March
Quirk – Half-Cold Half-Hot
This quirk was used by Shoto Todoroki on the anime show. This is an emission type of power with a long range. This quirk makes its Hero create ice as well as frost and cold wintery things from the right side of his body. At the same time, they can create fire as well as flames from the left side of their body. This can actually be considered as an evolved Explosion quirk with added benefits. Not to disappoint any January people out there, but the Half-Cold Half-Hot is more useful than the Explosion one.
All this while, the person who uses this quirk is not able to manipulate either of the two counterparts. They can only produce or create them. Also, you guys should know that this quirk is perfectly divided in the left and right hemispheres of the Hero’s body. This adds to the double power, and the user can employ either of the two sides as per their desire. Now, on My Hero Academia, we saw Shoto, who went through intense training in order to control this quirk. He used to sit inside the barrel of water and simultaneously changed his hot and cold sides in order to regulate the temperature of the water.
His body was able to adjust to the cold provided by his right side while he was learning to control the power of his flames. This type of training also helped him to understand the use of both of these sides at the same point in time. Well, let’s talk about the weaknesses of this quirk. The user, if employs the fireside, will immediately also have to use the icy one. If either one of the sides is used for a longer time without regulation, it can either give the march people frostbite or result in overheating of their body.
April
Quirk – Hardening
On the anime show, we mainly saw Eijiro Kirishima, as well as Akira Iwako, being able to use this quirk. It is the transformation type of power that only is possible in a close range. By using this quirk, all the April people can harden any part of their body as per their desire. This is a defensive sort of quirk which protects the user from the external threats cast at them. Once this power is activated within the Hero, they are able to endure the biggest physical pain, which otherwise might not be possible. Just like we saw in the Explosion quirk, more power is cast with increased physical sweat. There are a variety of explanations for this improvement in the Hardening quirk. It might be so that this power adapts to the damage after being activated. Once it is deactivated, the power resets again, and thus, the density hardens once again.
Now, there is a downside as well to this quirk, just like any other. There is only a limit that the skin of the Hero can endure the damages up to. Also, constant loss in stamina of the Hero results in the weakening of the hardness. Also, this quirk ranges in a short-range, which means that it only benefits the April people to fight personal combats. Now, this skill is only able to protect the person from physical damage. But as soon as the damages related to the temperature comes forth, the skill is of no use.

May
Quirk – Metal Manipulation
On My Hero Academia, we saw Wolfram using this quirk expertly. This is again an emission type of quirk with only ranging up to the contact of a Hero. This quirk gives the ability to a user to control the metallic materials around them by making contact with a potential iron surface. This power is actually pretty cool and can manipulate the accessory up to a manageable distance. Now, it is obvious that just by placing his hand on the wall or even on the ground, all the May people will be able to control any structure that is around the room. These things can get into a form of a structure and can be used for either attacking or defending.
The Hero is also provided with the ability to freely bend or reshape the metal as per their requirement. This will give all my May people a solid advantage in fights where there is a lot of metal involved. When the user is seen touching the metal to activate the quirk, their hands are going to glow with blue light. It is actually due to the electrical discharge of energy which results in mental manipulation. Back on the show, we saw Wolfram using this power to mainly overwhelm and scare his opponents.
He mainly employed the use of sturdy iron pillars, which were created from the iron minerals in the ground. While he is fighting in an area with a lot of metal sources, he can even crush his subjects through force. He can build cages with this metal and even create a shield wall to protect himself. This quirk can be used both as a defense as well as an offense mechanism. Just like the manipulation quirk mentioned above for the February people, this one manipulates the objects into fighting during combat is one of the most powerful quirks to exist.
June
Quirk – Cremation
In the anime, we saw Dabi being in charge of this quirk. This is an emitter type of power that goes to a very long range. Dabi’s father was the one to handle the Hellfame quirk. Just like him, he is also able to have fire-based abilities through Cremation. This power allows the user to create fire from his body whenever they want to have it. Now, there are various differences in Dabi’s quirk to that of the quirk possessed by his father. The flames generated by Cremation are actually blue, which means that they burn even hotter than the orange ones.
The users will be able to ignite the fire through any part of their body with limited movements and almost no effort. This quirk also allows the user to burn anything that they touch instantly. It does not matter if the target is a living creature or even a mineral; they all burn alike. This can again be considered as a better form of the Explosion quirk, but we should not forget that it has been generated from Hellflame’s powers only. Cremation has a very high temperature. It burns the substance at almost 2000 degrees celsius. This temperature is actually way higher than what we see when a natural fire happens, or lava oozes out of a volcano.
We saw that Dabi was even able to burn a group of his enemies into ashes in just a matter of seconds. It again makes the quirk pretty effective against the Dark Shadow power. Now, there are some weaknesses here as well. There is immense heat involved in this quirk, whereas one’s body might not be able to control it as perfectly. If this power is overused throughout the time, the skin might swell or sizzle or even burn. This means that battles cannot be fought for a long period of time. If overusing this quirk is done, the user might even lose their senses and it may prove fatal.

Quirk – One for All
This quirk, as we have already mentioned before, was handed over to Izuku Midoriya by All Might. It is an emission type of quirk that can go up to really long ranges. Also, you guys should know that this quirk can actually be transferred from one Hero to another. By doing so, the abilities of the quirk are improved, and the users get to have a better experience with it. The name of this power is derived from its own nature, which means that one quirk that is made for all. This is a very powerful quirk that cannot be just stolen by anybody in any form. The owner must actually choose to transfer the powers. This actually can be considered as the most powerful quirk among the Heroes.
The user can take whatever quirk they want from anybody without any limitations. It also allows the people who use it to store an immense load of power within them. By doing so, the physical abilities will significantly improve as well. It will take a Hero to a supernatural level with speed as well as agility, and strength with stamina. They can even project this power through any of their body parts by concentrating on it. Although you guys should keep in mind that whenever this quirk is used, suppose from the hand, it puts immense pressure on this part. Now, the user is also able to adjust the density of their power as per the requirement in their current situation.
On the other hand, if someone inherits this quirk while already being blessed with some other sort of power, One for All can actually help in enhancing the inborn one. As we have said earlier, the quirk had a chance to evolve throughout the years when it was passed down from one person to another. Izuku Midoriya on My Hero Academia is currently in possession of this quirk and he can actually access all the quirks that the previous owners had before him. This is because of the stockpiling power generated by the One For All leaders.

Quirk – Permeation
On My Hero Academia, we all saw Mirio Togata being the owner of this quirk. This is the transformation type of power that can only work in close-range areas. This is again one of the most special types of quirk available out there. It is able to grant the users the ability to phase their bodies through any sort of physical matter. All my fellow August people will actually be able to opt, either to make one part of their body intangible or even the entire one. This will allow the Hero to smoothly glide through the solid objects around them.
Permeation can result in an excellent defensive skin as the user can effortlessly skip the incoming attacks on them. Now, you guys should know that whenever the quirk of Permeation is activated, it is seen that the normally worn clothing falls off as well. It is due to the gravity that drags all the mass of his body through the ground. Now, if this quirk is disabled while passing through any of the solid objects, then the user will be thrown to the ground because now the gravity will act on the weight and mass of the body.
Now, there are a whole bunch of weaknesses in this quirk. As it so happens, this power can even prove fatal if not handled correctly. It is one of the hardest quirks to control ever. Also, the person who is using this quirk is not actually in their correct senses. I’ll explain this in a simple way. We all need light as well as oxygen and sound to live, right? But when the permeation quirk is enabled, these elements also manage to pass through the body. This leaves the user with a bizarre sensation of nausea. Well, it shall also be known that this quirk does not extend its power to other people. It means that while handling the quirk, a Hero requires extra attention.

Quirk – Decay
We saw Tomura Shigaraki using this quirk in the series. It is an emission type of quirk that only ranges through contact. This is again just like the Cremation quirk and makes the other thing destroy with just a touch. Whatever the hands of the user touch will instantly decay, as suggested by the name, and later will crumble to dust. It also does not matter if the subject is organic or a substance. Everything will just turn to ashes. This is an offensive quirk, of course, and is extremely fatal to all human beings. If touched by a September person while their quirk is active, nobody could help but see their flesh rot away.
In recent times, it has been seen that the speed by which the opponent decays is now slow to almost immediately. It spreads through the whole body within a matter of seconds and kills the enemy. Now, there is another added benefit of the chain effect in this quirk. Suppose if you are touched by a person whose Decay quirk is active. You will watch yourself decay, but as you fall down, you fall onto the hand or leg of another person or animal. It will be seen that this third person or object will also be destroyed through it, thus creating a chain effect. An entire household can be destroyed through this powerful quirk.
Now, there are obviously negative sides to this quirk as well, but not many. This quirk needs the person to touch a solid object before while the quirk is activated in order to kill. But it can be manipulated through elements such as water and fire, which are hard to touch with the fingers. Now, if a pair of gloves are worn by the Hero, they will not be able to access this quirk. Back in Explosion, we saw that if a user loses their limbs, their quirk will be gone. In a similar manner, if a user loses their fingers, they will never have access to the Decay quirk again.
October
Quirk – Hellflame
On My Hero Academia, we saw Enji Todoroki being able to use this quirk. This is again the emission type of power that can expand up to a medium range. This is one of the most powerful quirks that we have seen in the anime. It is able to provide its users with pyrokinetic abilities. When this quirk is activated, all the October Heroes will be able to charge their opponent with insanely large fire blasts that can immediately burn them down to the ground.
There are various abilities available as well, with this type of quirk. A user is actually able to change the temperature of these fire blasts as well. It can either increase or decrease as per the wishes of the Hero. Also, you guys should know that these flames can even heat up to a point where they turn from Orange to Blue. Now let us talk about the weaknesses of Hellflame.
This quirk is able to raise the body temperature of the user to dangerous levels where it might even be fatal. If this power is used for a long time without specific breaks, physical inability could take place. On the shows, we saw that Enji particularly likes to keep his body in flames while using this quirk. This gives him a natural charisma in the form of a flame hero.

Quirk – Copy
On My Hero Academia, we saw the character Neito Monoma using this quirk. It is again a contact type of ability. This power allows its user to employ a quirk after they have come in contact with one of its respective users themselves. While this user is in combat, all they have to do is touch as little as a piece of hair from their enemy, and as the name suggests, they will be able to copy their respective quirks. This is how the user can gain full access to their opponent’s quirk and defeat them at it.
Well, it is still not known if this quirk will help the Hero to inherit the evolution which the previous Hero has been through. Now, there are surely some of the added benefits to this quirk. The user who has activated their Copy power can endure a variety of quirks at the same point in time. It all depends on the level of experience and practice that the people will have to go through. Now, suppose that the user has inherited the quirk where they can change the shape or size of that body and have done that, then even if they switch to another quirk, the effect will be available and seen.
Also, we saw that Neito, whenever he inherits a quirk, also faces the same disadvantages as well as advantages that are faced by the user who has the parent quirk. Well, this is surely one of the most manipulative quirks. It allows Neito to actually be pretty versatile throughout it and be unpredictable in combat because we never know what curse has he taken.
December
Quirk – Fierce Wings
On the anime show, we saw Keigo Takami being able to manage this quirk. This is a mutant type of quirk and works for a very long-range as well. This power grants their respective users two large wings that are red in color. These accessories are actually made up of a variety of feathers. December people will also be able to manipulate all these feathers in their wings through the power of their minds and concentration.
By having such immensely powerful wings with them, the users will be able to fly at abnormal speeds. Feathers can even be detached when the quirk is active. This means that the people actually have a telepathic bond with their feathers which can be controlled. These feathers can change their structure to adjust the combat they are a part of. For example, they can either be very stiff or change to a flexible setting in a minute.
Also, it is shown in the anime series that even a single feather of the Hero is enough to easily move a whole enemy around. The feather can be adjusted in shape as well as the size and even in their cutting ability. The feathers have the power to act in the form of sensors that can detect the people as well as the objects around them through the vibrations as well as feelings emitted by them each. This is very helpful during combats.
