Quest Supremacy Chapter 109 opens up with Soohyun stating that the fight is completely one-sided, with Jintae getting beat up. The stats of Jintae and Soohyun also pop up, which clearly show the level difference between them.
Jintae gets up from the ground and says that this is exactly how a fight between leaders should be. He then prepares a strategy to counter Soohyun by analyzing all the elements presented so far.
Quest Supremacy Chapter 109: Recap
While Jintae is busy preparing a plan, Soohyun closes the distance and punches him straight in the face. Jintae was shocked by the sudden assault as he failed to react to the punch. Jintae then tries to counterattack Soohyun, but he gets beat up instead. He wonders how much stronger Soohyun is because he is still unscathed.
Soohyun knocks Jintae to the ground and asks him why he had to go so far after winning the fight earlier. Jintae just smiles like a maniac and replies that it is thrilling to give hope to a weak person just to take it all away the next moment.
Soohyun knocks out Jintae with a strong right, and then he uses his technique Mana drain to suck all of Jintae’s Mana. Soohyun states his reasons and says that he wants to make Jintae realize how it feels to be weak.
Jintae shouts and struggles while his abilities get drained from his body, but Soohyun still doesn’t let go. Suddenly, some memories flash before Soohyun’s eyes, and he throws Jintae because he can’t become a person like Choyun. Jintae shouts and asks Soohyun what he did to him, but Soohyun quietly goes away from the area.
Soohyun reaches the room where his friends have been held hostage, and then he takes them home. He contacts the other members in the area to tell them to capture Jintae and bring him to the West, but he learns that Jintae has disappeared. Jintae suddenly jumps off Soohyun and tries to punch his friend, but Soohyun blocks it with his face.
Soohyun gets thrown far back from the punch, which is surprising as he sucked most of the strength out of Jintae. The focus then shifts to Jintae just after he is defeated by Soohyun. Jintae shouts and curses while lying on the ground as he wonders how he lost to Soohyun even when he held Choyun’s hand.
Choyun sees Jintae through his screen, so he decides to use the “Deal” card on him. The Deal Card can exchange a person’s intelligence and potential for an explosive boost in strength. Back to the battle between Jintae and Soohyun, Soohyun notices that Jintae does not have any intelligence.
Jintae rushes towards Soohyun and sends him flying with a kick. Soohyun uses a bean of recovery and immediately dodges the next attack from Jintae. Soohyun says that no human can ever use such a card on another human, and that goes to show how inhuman Choyun is.
Soohyun says that he has trained for three months to get to this point, and during those 3 months, he earned a lot of cards through quests. He adds that he intended to use those cards against Choyun, but due to the condition of his opponent, he will have to reveal his cards now. Soohyun then uses the buff card to increase all of his stats necessary to match his opponent.
