PRISMA is a not-so-popular yet decent debut kpop girl band that would have retained a good popularity if stuck through time. While the Kpop industry is an industry of various failures, PRISMA ended as a potentially good kpop band that disbanded for personal reasons and failed the test of time.
PRISMA consists of 5 members and two latest nonmembers who left the band for unknown reasons, an association of whom could have taken this band to new heights. In this blog, we will discuss everything there is to know about this 5 girl member Kpop band and take you through the journey of the band from debut to destruction and everything in between.
PRISMA, as discussed, is a 5 member girl kpop band that failed the test of time. This band was managed by UnionWave Entertainment, which has only had PRISMA as its official band association. PRISMA was announced in 2020 and had quite a bumpy journey. December 2019 started the journey of PRISMA as UnionWave Entertainment announced auditions for a new girl band.
In January 2020, the kpop band was announced with 5 members consisting of Chaerin, Gyeongmin, Naejong, Nia, and Miriam. The team lost its first member in the same year, named Chaerin, who left the group for health reasons. Sally then joined the group later the same month.
While things gradually started coming to track, Naejong was replaced by Eunbyeol by the end of the year. All the replacing and departure of members took a huge hit on the band. Even so, the band took responsibility for its duties and debuted in the market sooner than expected in the same year.
Despite their pacy impressive moves, the band was already quite inactive on social media itself, which was the prime market for the promotion of the band and getting it viral. There have been a lot of miscommunications and bumps within the band that dissolved PRISMA in January 2023, which is considered an unofficial disbanding.

Songs, Albums & Debut
PRISMA is a failed band that could have performed better but failed at management miserably. This band has faced a major backlash in the industry due to the replacements taking place.
The inactive behavior of the band on social media is another flaw, but nevertheless, the team did their best to kick start their journey, which is why PRISMA released its debut digital single just after the finalizing of members on October 31, 2020, named Breakout.
