Prime Video has added 11 actors to the cast of Rose Hill, its upcoming romantic family drama based on the bestselling book series by Elsie Silver. The newly announced cast includes Paul Raci, John Ralston, Kathleen Duborg, Nikki Rae Hallow, Woody Jeffreys, Carmela Zumbado, Karin Konoval, Alvina August, David A. Kaye, Anthony Konechny, and Magda Apanowicz.
The series adapts Silver’s popular small-town romance stories for television, bringing together ranch life, complicated relationships, family ties, and a romance shaped by long-held feelings. The story takes place in a rugged mountain town, where established friendships and romantic tensions become more complicated when a country-pop star arrives.
Temple Hill Entertainment, the production company behind several successful film and television adaptations, is producing Rose Hill for Prime Video. The project also brings Silver directly into the production as an executive producer, connecting the television adaptation to the author’s bestselling source material. However, Prime Video has not provided a premiere date in the supplied announcement.
ROSE HILL CAST AND CHARACTER DETAILS
The new additions will play characters connected to the story’s central relationships and family drama. Paul Raci will portray Clyde, while John Ralston joins as Andy. Kathleen Duborg has been cast as Greta Belmont, and Nikki Rae Hallow will play Mia.
Woody Jeffreys will portray Ford Grant Sr., with Carmela Zumbado playing Erika. Karin Konoval joins as Doris, Alvina August as Christina, David A. Kaye as Elliot, Anthony Konechny as Ryan, and Magda Apanowicz as Marilyn.
The announcement expands the ensemble surrounding the series’ main characters. The supplied casting information does not specify the actors’ individual storylines beyond their character names.
WHAT IS ROSE HILL ABOUT?
Based on Elsie Silver’s New York Times bestselling series, Rose Hill follows West Belmont, a rancher who struggles with commitment, and Ford Grant, a brooding record label owner known as Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire.” Ford has long harbored feelings for West’s sister, Rosie.
Their complicated personal lives become more intense when Skylar Stone, a country-pop star, arrives in their mountain town. The series combines small-town romance with family relationships, celebrity, and the tensions that emerge when established lives are disrupted by new arrivals.
Silver is known for romance novels featuring strong heroines, romantic tension, banter, and slow-burning relationships. Her Rose Hill books have appeared on bestseller lists, with Wild Card, the series’ most recent release mentioned in the announcement, debuting at number one.
