Catherine Zeta-Jones expresses her affection for her family over the holidays, as the Welsh actress shared some absurd pictures of herself, her 79-year-old husband, Michael Douglas, and their two grown children enjoying a vacation in India. Zeta-Jones commented, “Selfie stick silliness,” along with a crying laughing emoji.
The Ant-Man actor is seen flexing his arms behind his wife in the photos while his other half seems to be blowing a kiss. Their 23-year-old son Dylan displays an expression of open mouth, while his 20-year-old sister Carys gives a peace sign for the humorous picture. (Michael is also the father of 45-year-old Cameron from a previous relationship, who is not shown in the picture.)
Zeta-Jones sticks out her tongue in the second picture of the sequence. In the third, she and her children maintain their lively countenances as Michael seems to be using his phone to take a self-portrait that is a little off-camera.
Zeta-Jones shared a gorgeous picture of herself taken from behind while shooting a picture of a breathtaking sunset before the family fun. “Auditioning for the next Indiana Jones movie,” she joked about her appearance.
Zeta-Jones and Her Selfies
Zeta-Jones has been a selfie fanatic for a few years now; in 2022, she shared a selfie-style picture of her family trip, and in 2021, she shared numerous love selfies taken with her spouse.
The Oscar winner captioned the photo, “When bad selfies happen to good people,” before laughingly writing, “Well, maybe.. not so bad and not so good.”
Zeta-Jones responded to a fan who said that it was “humanly impossible” for the couple “to EVER take a bad selfie/picture” with an emoticon of a crying face full of laughter.
In 2020, the cheerful couple commemorated their 20 years of marriage. Douglas shared an audio clip on Instagram to mark his and his wife’s 20th wedding anniversary, explaining that he first met Zeta-Jones when he saw her in the 1998 movie Zorro.
His caption said, “Happy 20th Anniversary, my darling!” “I love you always and forever @catherinezetajones ❤️ (Volume ⬆️) #20years.”
Zeta-Jones also posted a video montage of their relationship over the previous 20 years to commemorate the milestone. She wrote on her own account: “20 years ago today, Michael and I were married!! What an amazing, magical night that was! And 7304.85 days and nights on, I love you now as I did then. (except for the point 85 bit) 😂 Thank you for the love and laughter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
