But there certainly is a lot to unpack with this Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 7. I will also discuss the Tejada family drama in Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 and the aftermath of Lorenzo’s Death.
Now with Tajadas, Monet is playing a very dangerous game and the hallucination of Lorenzo definitely gave us a foreshadowing of what’s to come. So even though we’re going to see Monet trying to reestablish some level of control, I don’t think she realizes how she’s opened up a whole kind of worms when it comes to drawing Cain fighting for the crown, and especially when it comes to Diana, who was daddy’s girl.
One thing that is certain about Cane is that he will stop at nothing to prove wrong to anyone who doubts his intelligence. He did it with Lorenzo, and Monet will undoubtedly be the next. Cane will find out that Monet set their father up, then this statement from her saying “stop trying to put 2 and to 2 together, because you always end up with 5”. Cane will tell her he can put 2 to 2 to get 4.
The irony of the whole thing is that Monet is beginning to think about the fact that her children will not forgive her if they find out what she did. She will start acting desperately without thinking and expose herself at the end. Her deep thoughts were reflected through the reappearing of Lorenzo to her. Lorenzo may be dead, but I’m pretty sure we will see some dream appearances here and there till Monet gets caught.
Power Book II Season 3 Episode 7 Release Date
Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 7 will release on 28 April 2023 on Starz. I know it was some people out there believing that we weren’t going to get Episode 6. In my Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 Release article, I told you guys that they are not going on a break after Season 3 Episode 5.
For the first two seasons, we got that break after episode 5, but not this season. I believe the break will start after Episode 8, and this is how they used to do in the original Power show, so we’re going to see what time it is in Episode 7.
Lorenzo’s Children Taking Revenge
Now in Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6, Dru was made to believe that the Russians killed Lorenzo. His emotions got the better side of him, and he went after them. I know everyone in his position would have done the same. Just like how Gordo didn’t waste a minute to kill Lorenzo after knowing he killed his father even though we all know it wasn’t Lorenzo. Yet again, Dru made the same mistake Gordo made by going after the wrong people.
Now in my last article, I stated that Cane would try his mind games with Monet as he did with Lorenzo when he mistakenly shot Zeke. Let’s not underestimate Cane and the skills he developed from Mecca at the time they were dealing together. How will Cane or any of the Children find out Monet had something to do with their father’s death?
Now we all remember when Monet was trying to convince Cane to kill his own father. She said everything possible for him to think killing his father was a great idea, even though Cane wasn’t sure about doing it. With Cane, he will probably reflect on how hard Monet was trying to convince him to kill Lorenzo. Even for her to think of it alone at the time will open his mind to the fact that Monet can possibly set their father up to be killed.
Monet Was Angry When Zeke Was Killed
Now what else can give Monet out that she is guilty? Her Body language and how she is going to handle Lorenzo’s death. I know these two situations might not feel the same but Lorenzo’s death shortly after Zeke’s death should totally break her by now.
But it seems as though the way Monet handled Zeke’s death is totally different from how she is handling that of Lorenzo. I know losing a son feels differently from losing over 20 yrs husband, but the way Monet is reacting so far to Lorenzo’s death as if she is happy about it will clearly give her out not only to her children but to the feds as well.
Now when Zeke was killed, Monet was all over the place venting her anger and emotions on everybody that until she finds Zeke’s Killer, no one was going to rest. She wanted Lorenzo to find Zeke’s killer Asap. The whole Tejada family became Hot as if Zeke was even a Tejada. And Monet didn’t even blink before shooting IG 7 times. Now that is how you feel when you lose a loved one or a dear one. That’s why I don’t blame Dru for his actions by going after the Russians.
Monet Has No Reaction After Lorenzo’s Death
But let’s continue with Monet now; her reactions to Lorenzo’s death show that she is relieved that he is finally gone. From when she was asked to ID him, there wasn’t any element of emotions, pain, or hurt towards seeing Lorenzo’s body. She stood there like Tommy and Ghost moment when they were stirring at Keenan’s body.
Now If you look closely at how Blanca is looking at Monet standing here like she is watching TV, you can tell that Blanca expected more reactions from Monet than just standing there like that. For someone who has 3 children with a man should definitely react differently from this.
If a wife loses her husband shortly after losing her beloved son, there are some expectations of her reaction at first sight of the body unless, of course, she had something to do with the person’s death. And that is exactly what Monet is exhibiting.
As if that was enough, she has already started working on his insurance policy even before his burial. These little traces of unusual Monet will give people who are paying attention to her get some clues to her involvement in Lorenzo’s death. Let me know what you think about Monet acting so casually.
Diana Gets Caught
Now Let’s Talk about Diana. It is obvious that she and Salim were done the moment he started speaking ill about her father in their house under these bizarre circumstances. What I’m afraid Diana might think moving forward is that Tariq set her up. The way things are going, Tariq is going to be hotter in the coming episodes. Why do I say so?
Tariq came to Diana heartbroken after he confronted Effie about Lauren. He came to sympathize with her and wanted her to push the weight. She declined by telling him she has to stay out to honor her father’s last wish. He then attracted her to the locker they’d been hiding the drugs on the rooftop after Diana said she needed a hideout to keep the remaining drugs her father gave her. I know Tariq was genuinely trying to offer his help to Diana, but the turn of even might make Diana think that Tariq intentionally set her up with this offer.
That again will brings the question, how did the Camera end up there? Now I want to establish this: Jenny will face a huge problem moving forward and might end up like Withman. How can you want to arrest Diana when she is the only one who really shared tears for her father? Jenny is cold, and people like her, who think they are doing their best to bring people down, end up like Withman. Desperation in this kind of situation will only cause her to make terrible mistakes in the process.
Now Diana has been caught, and no two ways about that, she will be going down for this. In the same way, Effie will equally be caught, just that she might be smart not to open the lockers after seeing the camera. This can also make her case a bit different from Diana’s but the question the feds will be asking her is, what was she doing there?
