Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 3 was flat-out crazy. We had a lot of different things going on. Cane is taking his power thing to a whole new level, and he did not waste any time by letting his family know who was running things.
And did yall see Lorenzo’s face? Lorenzo looked like a defeated person. I mean, he looks so sad and out of it. And I’m looking like, “man, they got your boy Lorenzo looking flat-out stupid in these episodes as if he is Cane’s peasant.
Lorenzo keeps saying, “Cane is going to make the decision. Cane is running it. Cane is going to do it. It’s his say so.” And Dru was passed off, man. Was he like, “Really? When did Cane start running stuff?”
Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 3 Review
What do you think about that game plan to get Uncle Frank’s sons to work with them? Remember, Cane just wanted to take him out, but you’ll know Dru, he was messing around with Uncle Frank’s son Gordo, which I believe blew up in his face eventually. But that’s the only reason he didn’t want to take them out, which is understandable from Dru’s perspective.
But then again, Cane didn’t give a damn. Taking out Uncle Frank was one thing, but taking out all of his sons was another animal.
And then this man Cane decided it was smart to have Brayden take out one of the Russians. I mean, like? Are you going to have Brayden take out the connection? What type of thought is going through your head to think that he could do this? But I guess he’s going off the thought that Brayden took out Lauren, so maybe he’s thinking, “OK, this could be easy for Brayden to do. And he did tell him that.
But you all saw how Brayden was acting. It was the first episode, maybe. There he was, acting scary when it was time to take out bash. Now taking out Lauren is one thing; you know what I’m saying? Cane says, “Ohh, take out Lauren, you know, set that up.” But taking out a Russian connection, it’s a whole other animal. You don’t know what’s about the pop-off. So to send Brayden in there to do it was stupid.
I don’t think that was a good idea, regardless of whether Cane believed Brayden took out Lauren and then backfired. Luckily, Tariq was there and helped save the day, and all that will do is come back on them. Because now they know it was not Brayden that did this. It was not a white guy; it was a black guy. So it will pressure the Tajada family, which is why Cane is so upset with Brayden at the end of the episode.
Brayden
You all see that it is starting to put a lot of pressure on the things that Brayden has not done. Of Course, catching the body is a huge tax for him, but he’s very smart when moving this product. He successfully did the Wall Street game plan and moved that product to Noma, which is going well. You know what I’m saying.
They are moving quickly when it comes to that product, but you all know how Brayden is; he moved fast last season with Course Correct, and once he got everything set up with the whole Wall Street game plan, they started to move real quickly with the sale. So we’re going to see how that ends up going now.
Tariq Exposes Tasha As Queenpin
Now Let’s Talk about Tariq and Effie. Effie’s conversation with Tariq is a little uncomfortable for me. I don’t know about you, but just for a second, imagine Effie is wearing a wire, and they have this conversation. Do we see how Tariq implicates his mother as the queen pin and Ghost as innocent? I think Tariq is currently talking too much.
Tariq said he is smarter and better than Ghost, but it looks like he is all that in the opposite direction. Because Ghost will not say everything to a woman even if he loves her that much, I don’t know about you but let me know what you think about our boy Tariq and his conversations with Effie.
Talking about Effie, I feel like Effie might tell Cane Brayden couldn’t do Lauren, but she did. So maybe he should stop putting Brayden to some task before he messes things up.
Diana’s Revenge on Effie
Now Diana felt played by Effie, and this might turn out ugly for Effie. I have a feeling Diana will shut Effie’s pipeline at Stansfield. Diana knows this spot where they used to hide the drugs; Effie doesn’t know she does. Now Diana met her from the rooftop, and with Course perfect now selling on campus, Diana has just confirmed that Effie is dealing on campus.
Now, Diana knows that Lorenzo will never allow her to sell. So, for him to come to her with a bag of drugs, it means that’s some SOS she must do for papa. Now if I were Diana, the best way I could move the weight through even the candy shop is by cutting off Effie’s pipeline on campus. Either that or she joins Effie to help her move her father’s assigned products.
Should Diana want to play dirty by cutting off Effie’s pipeline, How will she do that? If I were Diana, I would fix a dummy camera on the rooftop to scare Effie from using the place. This will stop her people from coming to do pickups and drops. Diana can move her father’s products there and possibly through the candy shop if this happens. Also, Diana will be seen working with Effie to move the products at Stansfield together.
But then again, this spot will eventually be compromised because that camera has been spotted in the Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Trailer. If we want to consider the title of this episode, Brayden’s sister can also play some role for Diana, you know, Human capital! Now let me know what you think about this Diana and Effie part.
Diana And Salim
Here are my thoughts, impressions, and your girl, dirty Diana. Now, this dude Salim, I’m trying to give him a pass the first couple of episodes, but man, this dude is a flat-out weirdo. Like, what are you doing? You’ll sit here and tell her you’ve been Googling her pops. Like, are you crazy? Now you’re reminding me of, like, a stalker. Like, what the hell are you on? You can’t be trusted.
And after Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 3, it makes it slightly more obvious that he is up to something. Or maybe he is just a flat-out weirdo, like I just said. I mean, will you tell her you’re looking up her pops and then kick it with her? And then he was looking shaken when he saw Lorenzo pop up there. And then Cane, you all know he probably wanted to beat the dude down.
But Diana needs to watch this dude, Salim. Like I told you about these new characters, especially a guy telling you he’s looking your family up, you must watch them. But we know before it’s all said and done, he will clap Diana’s cheeks, and that’s for damn sure. But still, this guy has to be watched, man. He’s moving shaky, in my opinion. Let me know what you all think about Salim. Is he working for Nona? Or somebody else? I think it’s fishy on the way he’s been moving.
What Is Dru On?
Now, let’s talk about Dru. What in the hell was Dru on? He spent the whole episode on the Grinder app, and that’s all he was doing. I’m pretty sure their subscriptions will go up after this episode. That’s all he was doing the whole episode.
Dru was just on Grinder looking at pictures, texting, etc. Of Course, we know he was on there, probably chatting it up with Gordo. But still, come on, Dru, get on your game. I know you, Miss Eve, or whatever, but I must leave that alone. Do you know what I’m saying? Just focus on what you want to do.
Like I told you all and we talked about Dru, Does he want to be in this drug game, or does he want to focus on his love life? In Power, the love life doesn’t work, especially if you’re in the game. And messing around with Uncle Frank’s Son, there will be consequences for his actions. And this whole thing with him will backfire.
But you all know Dru is upset with Cane running things, which will be problematic for him this season. But man, I was getting tired of this dude always being on Grinder, not focusing on what he needed to focus on. It just goes back to the whole Eve thing. He’s not focused on the task at hand. You all have to move the weight. Come on; it’s a lot of weight if you don’t move it; you know what will happen to your sister; she will die.
Dealing With Noma
Speaking about Noma and moving n that weight, this girl is barely in the show. We only saw her in what, in one episode? Your boy Obi is running things from the looks of it. And he dared to pull out a picture of grandma and say she would last on the list if they didn’t move this way and get that profit. I’m looking, like, “Really, You taking it to that type level?” I mean, come on.
It is what it is, but you all know what would have happened if this happened to Ghost? Do you know what I’m saying? You all saw what Ghost did to Malan when he popped up on his family at that dinner. Ghost was pisssed off; he knew right then and there that he had to take down Malan and needed to do it very quickly because he was going to be a problem. So for the dude to pull out that picture of Tariq’s grandma… Oh, hell, Nah, it just got personal.
They got to figure out what they want to do with Norma in her organization because they’re very dangerous. And, if you all slip up just a bit, they’re willing to take you out just like that. But you all, let me know what you think about this Noma situation.
Effie And Diana
What do you all think about your girl, Effie, and dirty Diana’s encounter? Diana told Effie, “look, you told me to stay away from Tariq, but you are messing around with him.” And now Effie wants Diana to move product at Stansfield, but Diana’s like, “Nah, I’m good.” But she will be moving product for her pop Lorenzo; it was crazy.
But it shows you that Diana is pisssed off about what happened with her and Tariq. She is trying to act like she doesn’t care. She said, “I’m not going to fight over no dude.” But look, you have feelings for him. Let’s just be honest, and you feel some way about that. And I expect it to still be a problem with the two as the season continues to air out, but we’ll see what happens with this storyline.
Thirsty Detective Kevin Whitman, the way that he is moving, he’s pretty much, you know, signing himself up for failure. It does not look good for him. I am saying this based on what we’ve seen in the past from people who move exactly like him. We know it’s not going to be a result. And we also saw some things for your boy Cooper Saxe. He knows the truth about David McLean, which will backfire.
Overall Review On Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 3
Human Capital was a topic of Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 3, and it certainly said that the theme of the episode is how an organization uses different skills, expertise, and capabilities of people to benefit their organization, whether it be in the street game or boardroom.
So overall, this was a crazy episode, and things will be crazier moving forward. Tariq and the team have now dropped into the Gun business, so I hope the show makes the most of this situation.
