The live-action adaptation of Minta Suzumaru’s Takara’s Treasure (Takara no Vidro) boys-love manga is set to debut on various TV channels in Japan on July 1, including BS Asahi, TV Kanagawa, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, Hokkaido Broadcasting Co., Ltd., and CBC TV.
Additionally, it will be available for streaming exclusively on the Lemino service in Japan. Viz Media’s SuBLime boys-love imprint has acquired the rights to the manga and plans to release it in September 2024.
Described as a heartwarming tale, the manga centers around a romance between a popular college student and a sincere young man from the countryside.
Originally serialized in Dear+ magazine in 2022, the manga was compiled into a single volume by Shinchosha in August of the same year. SuBLime has previously released other works by Suzumaru, including Golden Sparkle in March 2023, and Seven Seas Entertainment published I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love in the same month.
