Pikachu finds it very enjoyable and starts jumping along with one of Whaleko by sitting on its back. But this was the time when Pikachu noticed something far away in the water and fell down. This was also a shock for the team, who were struggling to find out its real identity, but when it approached, we found out that it was none other than Lapras.

Misty notices that it is looking panicked, and there is something wrong with it, and Brock also accepts her opinion. Lapras is crying, but when Ash sees it, he finds out that it is the same Lapras he met in the Orange Archipelago and hugged it.

Later they end up on a strange island that has holes and caves all over it. Brock exclaims that this must be because of the result of many years of erosion from the seawater.

Ash notices that every water pokemon here are sad and depressed and wonders what is wrong with all of them, but Lapras points his head upwards in order to show them something. After a closer look, they find out that there is a Whaleko stuck at the top of one of the hills. This was what Lapras wanted to tell them and needed their help.

Brock says that it might have gotten itself stuck from shipping around. Ash thanks Lapras for showing him this place, and now he can leave everything to him. Here Misty reminds us that people and Pokemon have to work together at times like these.

The scene changes to Team Rocket, who are in their Magicarp submarine and are looking at all the water pokemon that are present on that island and planning to steal all of them. When they notice Ash, they wonder what he is doing at the top of the hill, and in order to get a closer look, they slowly move their Magikarp.
