Virtual K-pop group PLAVE has demonstrated its commitment to making a positive difference by donating 100 million won (approximately $74,600) to support children facing difficult circumstances around the world.
The generous contribution was announced by the UNICEF Korea Committee on November 2, 2026, highlighting the group’s growing involvement in initiatives dedicated to children’s welfare and rights.
According to the committee, the donation will be channelled through UNICEF to provide essential assistance to children affected by conflict, natural disasters, poverty, and other hardships.
The funds will help ensure access to basic necessities and services, including clean drinking water, nutritious food, healthcare, and education.
The contribution comes as PLAVE continues its partnership with UNICEF Korea, which began earlier this year.
Through their latest donation and upcoming participation in a special children’s event, the group is extending its influence beyond music and entertainment.
PLAVE’s Donation Will Support Children’s Essential Needs Worldwide
On November 2, the UNICEF Korea Committee confirmed that PLAVE had contributed 100 million won to support vulnerable children across the globe.

The organisation expressed its appreciation for the group’s generosity and its efforts to use its platform to promote a better future for younger generations.
The donation is intended to reach children experiencing challenging conditions because of conflict, disasters, poverty, and other difficult circumstances.
Through UNICEF’s programmes, the contribution will support access to clean drinking water, nutrition, healthcare, and educational opportunities.
The committee also thanked the members for their meaningful contribution, acknowledging their willingness to use their influence to bring attention to children’s needs.
PLAVE shared its own message following the announcement:
“We hope every child can discover their own potential and envision their future in a safe environment.
We hope this donation, however small, can help children facing difficult circumstances.
We will continue to stand alongside children so they can make their voices heard and build a better tomorrow.”
The group’s statement reflected its hope that every child would have the opportunity to grow in a safe environment, recognise their abilities, and pursue their dreams without being limited by difficult circumstances.
PLAVE to Deliver Keynote Address at UNICEF’s The Children Festa
The donation is part of PLAVE’s broader involvement with the UNICEF Korea Committee.
In August 2026, the group signed a social contribution agreement with the organisation and began participating in initiatives aimed at promoting children’s rights and well-being.
As another part of this collaboration, PLAVE is scheduled to participate as a keynote speaker at The Children Festa on November 20, an event organised by the UNICEF Korea Committee to celebrate World Children’s Day.
The event will focus on the theme of children’s mental health in the digital environment.
Drawing on their distinctive identity as a virtual group that connects the digital and real worlds, PLAVE will deliver a message encouraging children to explore their potential, express themselves, and approach their futures with confidence.
Their participation is particularly relevant to the event’s focus on the relationship between children and the digital environment.
The group hopes to encourage conversations about creating safe spaces where young people can develop and make their voices heard.
With its latest donation and upcoming keynote appearance, PLAVE is continuing to expand its involvement in social contribution activities.
The group’s partnership with UNICEF Korea highlights how artists can use their public platforms to support meaningful causes and raise awareness about issues affecting children worldwide.
