Piers Morgan and American-Canadian political analyst Steven Crowder got into a heated argument in the most recent Uncensored episode.
They then discussed Alex Jones’s proposed lawsuit settlement, which Morgan used as an example of how he purposefully spread false information to distress the families of those affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.
Morgan made it clear that, in his opinion—which is that the U.S. Constitution does not protect people who commit defamation—he concurs with Elon Musk’s initial assertion that Jones should not be allowed to rejoin social media platforms like Twitter.
Steven Crowder response
In response, Crowder underlined the importance of free speech and noted that, as long as it stays within the bounds of this right, it is acceptable to express incorrect information.
He brought attention to the possibility of assuming that someone lied on purpose, especially if they have publicly acknowledged and expressed regret for their errors, based on a small percentage of their entire broadcast time.
Piers Morgan jumped in, reiterating his belief that, despite his best attempts to invoke the First Amendment, Alex Jones was found in violation of the law for willfully lying about the Sandy Hook families for a significant period of time.
Crowder pushed Morgan for more details about Jones’s calculated deceit. Morgan clarified, saying that Jones lied on purpose because he knew the Sandy Hook massacre had actually happened and that it was not a hoax.
After losing two civil cases and being ordered to pay over a billion dollars in damages to the families of the Sandy Hook school shooting victims for defamation, Alex Jones faced serious legal repercussions.
A year ago, he filed for personal bankruptcy. In July of the same year, his company, Free Speech Systems, had already declared bankruptcy.
More about Steven Crowder
Steven Crowder is a Canadian-American conservative political commentator and former Fox News contributor who also makes funny videos for conservative media. Subsequently, he started “Louder with Crowder,” a daily podcast and YouTube channel on politics. “Change My Mind,” in which he talks with people about a variety of topics, is one particularly notable section.
There was controversy in 2012 when Crowder and Americans for Prosperity members argued about Michigan’s right-to-work legislation.
Because of the offensive and racist comments posted on his YouTube channel, it was first demonetized in 2019. Once the issues were resolved, it was made available again for purchase, but in March 2021, it was taken down once more due to a violation of YouTube’s policy regarding the fabrication of statements regarding the election’s credibility.
The channel was subject to a two-week suspension in October 2022 for breaking YouTube’s anti-harassment policy.
The channel had 5.86 million subscribers as of May 2023. In March 2023, Crowder’s show was renamed as Rumble.
Steven Crowder played Alan “The Brain” Powers in the children’s television series Arthur when he was twelve years old. At the age of seventeen, he debuted in stand-up comedy. He later decided to pursue acting, and he was chosen to play Doug Moore in movies like To Save a Life (2009). Fox News was Crowder’s employer from 2009 until 2012.
He frequently contributed satirical videos to conservative websites during this time, including Andrew Breitbart’s Big Hollywood and Pajamas Media. Crowder presided over the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as master of ceremonies even in 2011. There was some controversy surrounding a rap video he released in 2012 during CPAC.
After Christian Crowder wed Hilary Korzon in August 2012, he candidly discussed the advantages he saw in abstinence prior to marriage. To treat his congenital pectus excavatum, Crowder had surgery in July 2021, during which titanium bars were implanted into his chest.
Regretfully, the procedure left his lungs with a painful buildup of fluid. His lung collapsed a few weeks later, and he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The couple welcomed a daughter and a son as twins in August 2021.
