Actor Jack Bannon reprises the role of Alfred Pennyworth. The show throws light on the infamous Wayne family butler, that is, Alfred Pennyworth.
We see him in his younger days when he was not connected to the Wayne family. Alfred used to serve in the Special Air Services of the British Army. Despite the fact that the League has surrendered, we see that General Thursday is trying to detonate it. This is when Stormcloud arrests him in London. The episode also gave space for a romantic scene as well see that Martha agrees to marry Thomas and Azis officiating their marriage on the spot. As Alfred and Davebpy find the bomb, Lucius has to come to help in order to deactivate the same. Salt was never safe, and we knew it.
Pennyworth Season 2 Recap
He is attacked by Sykes’s sister and is beaten up brutally in his penthouse. Before they can kill him, Salt uses the detonator and triggers it. We see that Alfred is ready to take the capsules, but Gully insists that it should be him. The detonation is then averted, although Gully ends up dying in the process. Mr. Pennyworth does as well after he unplugs his life support after bidding farewell to his wife.
By the end of the episode, we see that a new Raven alliance has been formed, and they are coming toward London to assault the people. This group is led by Frances Gaunt. As for Martha, we knew she was pregnant all along and gave birth to a baby girl. As for Gully, he has been revived and now possesses the power of draining anybody’s life. Alfred decides to land a counterattack on Frances and is teamed up with Kathie, Bet, and Daveboy. Coming back to the future of the series, here is what we can expect from the same.

I mean, Mrs. Pennyworth will be devasted this season following the death of her husband.
