Everyone in the anime world prefers an animation studio with diverse and good taste in animation. There are multiple anime studios known for animating the same genre or similar genre stuff and that is something that seems to have bored the fans.
Nowadays, people enjoy an animation studio that manages to create a separate identity for itself not by creating similar genre animes, but by creating ones that diversify in their nature. Whilst many anime studios are famous for their works in this field, PA Works seems to have a good grasp of this.
PA Works has been the primary animator, secondary animator as well, and the in-between animator for a variety of anime. It has been involved in the production of children-centric anime such as Doraemon, anime movie of an anime that originally aired in the 1990s, such as City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes, and finally, dark and mature anime such as Charlotte and Evangelion.
Their diversified range has built them a name in the anime community and everyone who is an avid watcher knows of their studio. The studio originally started in 2000 as PA Works Corporation but was renamed in 2002.
The founder of the company, Kenji Horikawa, worked as an animator for Production I.G., Tatsunoko Production, and Bee Train Production before he decided to create a production studio for himself.
Original anime made by PA Works and DMM.com to be aired in 2024
As mentioned earlier, PA Works has quite a name in the anime industry, and it has consistently been involved in making new anime. Recently, a website was launched which unveiled information regarding the studio’s upcoming anime, Nanare Hananare.
The anime is set to air in 2024. DMM.com is also involved in the production of this anime. In addition to the setting up of the website, a trailer was also launched on YouTube by DMM Pictures’ official channel.
The anime follows the story of six young girls in Gunma High School. All six girls are poles apart from one another with varying hobbies, interests, and personalities. Each of the girls has their worries, causes of stress, and much more. They are all overwhelmed and stressed and one day meet the others. The six girls forge a pure bond.
For six people who are as different as night and day, their love and need to support others unconditionally becomes a commonality. When such a pure bond is formed, the girls manage to not only support each other, but others involved in their lives as well. Six people who had their stuff to worry about, now have the hopes of changing the world little by little.
The staff responsible for bringing such a wonderful anime to life were mentioned on the website as well. Koudai Kakimoto is the director for Nanare Hananare and is in charge of the scripts as well. Tomomi Takada is the key and in-between animator. He also drew the original character concepts.
Kanaki Sekiguchi is responsible for animating the characters for the anime. Yuniko Ayana, and Midori Gotou, in addition to Kakimoto, are responsible for the script writing for the anime. PA Works and DMM.com are the producers of the anime.
Fans seem to have high hopes for this anime. Many believe that, like the recent anime produced by PA Works, this one would be a success as well. The staff behind the anime is another reason for people’s faith in success. In addition to that, some are even discussing the method of airing that anime.
Due to the Nanare Hananare having multiple primary characters, fans have shown concern regarding the screen time division. Many feel that the anime should be released in two cours as it will better divide the screen time between the characters, and each character will get ample attention.
Whilst some believe that the creators made the anime with something in mind, and whichever way they would choose to air the anime, would be perfect. Regardless of the discourse regarding airing methods, all the fans are excited about the anime and are hoping that their expectations will be met, if not surpassed, once the anime airs.
