The world had been pretty eventful so far, with Greed getting enough time for his family.

Overgeared Chapter 186 mostly focused on Greed and his adventure in the Archipelago and how he deals with the challenges. Greed didn’t know what to expect from the place as he knew almost nothing, and then there was the random quest. He didn’t expect a random quest to pop up where he would be forced to run from the lightning from the sky.
However, there were poles around him that helped him craft a material that would take care of the lightning. He used his appraisal skill, followed by crafting that allowed him to forge a tool to circumvent the lightning with ease. Greed was divided on the quest, first, it appeared difficult to him but became easy once he realized the trick.
In a good game design, there are always tricks to circumvent problems if one just looks around. Nothing better comes to mind other than the Souls-Borne series, which made the best use of player creativity in this field. But we digress. After Greed had cleared the lightning quest and got the challenge points, he was met with a group of lizards.

Greed will be going to further islands in Overgeared Chapter 187 as he completes one challenge after another. He has yet to figure out the purpose of the challenge points that have been awarded to him after each quest. Though challenges like these have exclusive stores where one could find exclusive items or things that would help him in the quest further, what will be in there for Greed remains to be seen.
It will be nice to see what the farmer did to the player that had shown up in Greed’s kingdom earlier only to be put into plowing the field. Even the narrator of the series joked about the character getting secret quests that would help him grow from it. It is a point worth remembering for future chapters, but it shouldn’t come anytime soon, not that that character looked too important.
