Synopsis
Our female protagonist, Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Nee), exemplifies what a nice daughter of a prominent family should be: quiet and kind. Jae Yi, who is engaged to the Second State Councilor’s son, realizes that the only way for her to honor her family and herself is to embrace her fate and get married in a reputed family.
In order to prepare herself for her marriage, Jae Yi diligently plans for the future by devoting herself to the responsibilities of a good daughter-in-law and wife. Unfortunately, destiny had different ideas. Just four days prior to her wedding, Jae Yi’s family is ruthlessly murdered Jae Yi is now the primary suspect in the crime because there is no one else to be held responsible for the unanticipated disaster.
If fate hadn’t chosen to intervene once more, Jae Yi, who was accused of being responsible for her family’s death, might not have had a bright future at all. Jae Yi is delivered from this difficult situation by Lee Hwan, the lonely crown prince (Park Hyung Sik), who joins her life at the ideal moment.
Her rescue, however, comes at a price. Lee Hwan, who is suffering from an enigmatical jinx, consents to look out for Jae Yi, but only if she will also assist him in removing the curse. Having no choice but to take the prince’s offer, Jae Yi agrees to his terms, setting off an unexpected course for their alliance.
