The K-drama, which had 20 episodes planned, is eventually wrapping up with just three left to air. The main character of the narrative is Min Jae-yi, a daughter of a well-known family who ends up being a suspect in killing her family members on false pretenses. She is forced to call off her pre-arranged marriage to the son of a State Councillor due to this bizarre turn of events.
On the other hand, Crown Prince Lee Hwan is horrified to learn that the terrible prophecies in the cursed letter he got from a supernatural being are actually coming true one by one. Will these two’s alliance develop into something more than friends as they join together to support one another on their respective paths to vengeance?
Synopsis
Our female protagonist, Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Nee), is quiet and compassionate, which is everything a good daughter of a prominent family should be. Jae Yi, who is engaged to the Second State Councilor’s son, realizes that the only way she and her family can be honored is by accepting the fate that awaits them, which is her marrying the councilor’s son.
Jae Yi devotes herself to learning everything in order to become a respectable wife and daughter-in-law as she diligently gets ready for the future. Unfortunately, destiny had something else in mind. Just four days before Jae Yi’s wedding, all of her family members pass away.
They had been brutally murdered while she was gone. With this tragedy, Jae Yi finds herself abruptly the prime suspect in the crime, with no one else to blame for the unanticipated disaster. If destiny hadn’t chosen to intervene again, Jae Yi, who was blamed for her family’s death, might not have had any hope for the future at all.
The lonely crown prince Lee Hwan (Park Hyung Sik), who enters Jae Yi’s life at the ideal moment, rescues her from this challenging scenario. Her rescue, however, comes at a price.
Lee Hwan, who had been cursed by a supernatural being and bound ever since agrees to look after Jae Yi—but only if she is willing to help him in dispelling the curse. Unable to refuse such an offer in desperate times, Jae Yi agrees to the prince’s request, setting off an unexpected course for their relationship.
Will our two protagonists, who are being tested by destiny, be able to forge their relationship and enable their love for one another to blossom despite the fact that one of them is a suspect in a murder while the other is a prince plagued with a tragic future?
