Oshi No Ko is a Japanese anime series directed by Daisuke Hiramaki. It is based on the Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaha and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020.
This anime is the story of a gynecologist Gorou who was a big fan of a famous idol AI Hoshino and he, by chance, got appointed to help deliver the children of AI Hoshino. He then gets murdered by an obsessive fan of AI Hoshino, who, after four years, murders AI Hoshino as well.
Gorou gets reincarnated as one of the twins AI gave birth to. His name was now Aquamarine Hoshino. He was never that much interested in AI. It was due to one of his terminally ill patients because of whom he got into all this stuff.
His patient, who goes by the name Sarina Tandoji, also gets reincarnated as one of the twins born to AI. Her name was now Ruby Hoshino, and she had great dreams of becoming a famous idol like her mom.
Ruby and Aqua both have memories of previous lives, and Aqua is aware of this, but for some reason, Ruby has always maintained her false identity. Aqua is Ruby’s highly protective older brother and doesn’t want them to experience what happened to their mother.
He, therefore, stays away from fame and also tries to stop his sister Ruby from doing so. But one can’t break someone’s dreams so easily. Ruby, after getting rejected by many companies, gets a chance at Strawberry Productions.
We’ll get to watch how Aqua and Ruby handle the highs and lows of their new lives, as well as how long Ruby can maintain her false identity.
Oshi no Ko Episode 3: Preview & What To Expect?
As per the official site, no spoilers for Oshi no Ko Episode 3 have been announced yet, but we can expect a few things after watching the second episode, which was released a few days back.
Aqua tries his best to stop Ruby from becoming an idol, as he doesn’t want what happened with their mother to happen again. Even he refuses his urge to become an idol. But the second episode had a happy ending as Ruby gets selected by Strawberry Productions and gets an opportunity of becoming an idol and fulfill her dreams.
In the next episode, we might be getting many twists as Auqa being the protective brother he is, will definitely do his best to protect her, but on the other hand, Ruby is also determined to become an idol.
Who will be successful in their mission is what we don’t know yet. Will Aqua be successful in stopping Ruby, or will Ruby become the idol she has always wanted?
Here’s the trailer of the series for those who haven’t started watching this anime yet:
Oshi no Ko Episode 3: Master Cast
Aquamarine Hoshino, son of AI, is being voiced by Takeo Otsuka(Aqua teen), Yumi Uchiyama(Aqua child), and Kent Ito(Gorou). He was a big fan of AI Hoshino, who was also responsible for delivering AI’s babies, who met his demise after AI’s obsessive stalker killed him and he got reincarnated as the son of AI himself.
Ruby Hoshino, who was a terminally ill patient named Sarina Tendoji, was reincarnated as AI’s daughter. AI Hoshino is a popular charismatic singer. Hikaru Kamiki was the mastermind of AI’s and Gorou’s murders.
You can also find Manaki Iwama and Megumi Han playing the supporting roles. Surely a fun anime to watch, with great characters and voices.
