The Release Date of the much-awaited Only I Know That The World Will End Chapter 42 is right around the corner. The Manga takes place in a world overrun by monsters one faithful day.
Furthermore, all humans received the game system, allowing them to level up by killing monsters and completing tasks. They could unlock certain abilities using the points they gain from leveling up. There was one who was given a rare ability for some unknown reason.
That person was the Protaganist, Ichijo Akari. He had a unique passive skill known as “Return From Hell.” It’s essentially the same ability Subaru from Re: Zero has. Every time he dies, he gets sent back to a specific moment. Even though his level resets each time, his stats do not.
At first, Ichijo had no idea what was happening; after a lot of trial and error, he was able to gain a basic understanding of his newfound abilities. With the help of Nanase Nao, his childhood friend and boss, he became motivated to fight.
Until now, Nanase is the only person who knows about Ichijo’s revive skill. To others, Ichijo is a person whose stats do not match his level.
Ichijo is mainly tasked with clearing out boss monsters, as it’s too hard for virtually anyone else. He still carries the axe he got from defeating his very first Boss Monster, the Minotaur. After his battle with Alan, his axe looks like it has seen better days.

Ichijo Akari, Nanase Nao, and Hanayuri Ayaka return to the Hospital after defeating Alan and the Boss Monster. Ichijo wonders how a person can have the ability to control monsters and whether he, too, is a monster.
At the Hospital, they are welcomed with open arms. Kariya inquires who Hanayuri is, and Ichijo makes introductions. Their soldier’s morale increased further when Nanase revealed the food and drinks she procured.
Ichijo goes back to his room without joining in on the celebrations. He has other things on his mind. He looks at his axe, which is almost destroyed, and wonders if he should get it fixed or find a new one.
That was when Hanayuri walked in. She apologizes for getting him involved with all that which happened. Soon after, Nanase knocks on his door, wanting to talk. A startled Hanayuri asks Ichijo to hide her.

In terms of hiding places, I am sure Ichijo could have found a better one than under his blanket. The whole idea was to not cause any misunderstanding. Well, they failed that task miserably.
Hopefully, Nanase won’t look under the bed. In the next chapter, we can see our heroes resting and recovering. The last fight was a tiring one, both physically and mentally. They would be taking it easy for the next chapter unless there is an emergency.
