7. Monkey D. Garp
Garp looks proud when Luffy performs outrageous acts. He cares for his grandson’s well-being.
When Luffy was on the verge of saving Ace, Garp blocked him and declined to move, telling his Marine duties. Despite this, Garp let Luffy hit him without attacking back.
He couldn’t save Ace, but he will not let another grandson die.
Bartolomeo, an absolute admirer of Luffy from the time of Loguetown and onward, admires the crew in its whole, saying he watched all of their actions and appeared dumbfounded when he met Luffy and Zoro.
Bartolomeo’s respect for the Straw Hats has moved to the extent that he’s ready to put himself in harm’s way for them. While battling Gladius, he took the shots directed at Luffy.
It is shown that Sabo has got an overprotective attitude towards Luffy as he held off Fujitora and informed him that should Luffy ever require help, he would be there for him, having declined to ever lose another loved one ever again. He also came to Luffy’s aid when Jesus Burgess tried to kill Luffy continually, telling the Burgess that Luffy is his brother and he has to go fight him to get to Luffy.
He was quite fascinated by Luffy’s recklessness of breaking into Impel Down in an attempt to save Ace’s life, an action that not even Whitebeard had done. This makes him one of the very few pirates outside of Whitebeard’s crew whom Jinbei respects.
While the wedding ceremony, Jinbei personally told Big Mom of his resignation from her crew to accompany the Straw Hats, which left Big Mom raging and Luffy overjoyed at his statement. Jinbe even states his solid devotion to the crew of the future Pirate King in the face of Big Mom.
Shanks is missing his left arm, a direct result of him saving Luffy from a Sea King when Luffy was a child.
There is an understanding between Shanks and Luffy that Luffy will return the hat upon him becoming a great pirate
“Listen up… You can spill drinks on me, you can throw food at me… You can also spit on me. I’ll just laugh that stuff off. But… Good reason or not… Nobody hurts a friend of mine.”
2. Boa Hancock
Due to Luffy’s courage, selflessness, and kind heart, Boa Hancock has fallen in love with Luffy, creating her to have “Love Sickness,” which was the reason of the death of almost all of the previous Empresses.
She is also very protective of Luffy, going so far as to attack Smoker for holding Luffy, much to the confusion of the Marines watching them.
She worries so much for Luffy that she hardly ate any food on her return to Amazon Lily till she was certain that Luffy was all right.
1. Trafalgar D. Law
Law and his crew went to Marineford during the war of Marineford to help with Luffy’s escape, and then later offered medical treatment to him.
During his battle against Doflamingo, it was noted that Law thinks highly of the Straw Hats, saying that they are a group capable of performing miracles.

The series’ reputation resulted in his holding named one of the manga artists that shaped the history of manga.
So, really, it should not be shocking to hear Oda has one fantastic house. The creator had his large home featured on a Japanese TV show for the New Year, and it was really as insane as you would assume.
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has an exciting house. Previously, we saw Oda’s studio, which is also located in his home. After checking out that, other parts of his house, which were recently introduced on Japanese TV, shouldn’t come as a total surprise.
On Twitter, fans started sharing stills of NTV’s unique that showed off Oda’s home. The images, break down everything from the artist’s balcony to his bathroom.
On his balcony, Oda has a full-on train turning around the pad. The miniature is just big enough to give somebody a lift if they need it, and the set-up seems kinda cute with its engine.
As for Oda’s bathroom, The entire bathroom is covered in the ceiling-to-floor wallpaper of the ocean. Guests really feel like they were floating with sharks when they access the room, but they may not need to think like that when they’re prepared to go.
Oda also has a massive crane game with a kind of special goodies. The author stocks it himself, so we can only imagine what Oda tucks away in the game.
