Recap And Review
While we were hoping to see the purpose of Flash and the others meeting with Blast right away, the chapter saw some different developments with Sonic being surprised by the appearance of several ninjas at the same time. They turned out to be the ninjas from the same Shinobi village where Sonic grew up and in fact, they were his upperclassmen.
Sonic realizes that they are not joking about their strength and are indeed very strong. Moving forward with this conversation, these ninjas reveal their main plan and that is the fact the leader of that village known as “That Man” is making his return, and getting Flashback is one of their purposes for the time being.
They also revealed that “That Man” had come to a stop in his battle with Blast and now he is rising to power again. The Shinobis disappear after telling Sonic to bring Flash to them. Then the perspective changes and we see Flash and the others meeting with Blash who turns out to be working on the monster cells separation machine as it will help the humans who have transformed into monsters get back to being humans again.
Whereas, Flash also learns about “That Man” from Blast who tells him that it was in the past. The monster cells separation machine doesn’t seem to be working as well but as the chapter comes to an end, we see one of the monsters trying its best to get it to work.
Expectations
Sonic will be making his move to figure out where Flash is and while it doesn’t seem like Sonic is the type of guy who follows orders, he seems pretty serious about “That Man”.
Meanwhile, we are going to see the development of what this Monster Cells separation machine will amount to as well. This will eventually help turn back the monsters that are roaming alongside them. Seeing the return of “That Man” we could also see Blast in action soon.
