One Punch Man is the story of an average guy who unlocked God Mode in real life. As a young unemployed guy going from one job interview to another being miserable all the time, he decided to give Heroing a try. To become a hero, he put himself through strict training. The training comprised regular exercises, but for Saitama, they did something else.
He worked out soo hard that he broke through the Human Barrier and stepped into the abnormal. Calling him the strongest person alive is not an exaggeration. As the name suggests, he can defeat any enemy with one punch; such is his strength. It turns out that having too much strength is also boring, as fights only last a couple of seconds for him.
Even though he is capable of stopping extension-level disasters with nothing more than a flick of his hand, his talents remain unappreciated. Most of the time, other heroes get credit for their achievements. Saitama wasn’t one for being famous anyway. However, those who have witnessed his true strength respect him very much.
If you are anime only fan there, beware. There are major spoilers ahead. The Monster Association Arc ended with Chapter 170. We are in a new Saga now, the Neo Heros Saga. We are in the first Arc of the Neo Heros Saga, the Psychic Sisters Arc. This Arc deals with the aftermath of the annihilation of the Monster Association and the rebuilding of the Hero Association.

The fight between Tatsumaki and Saitama came to an end. Saitama is the obvious victor, however. Tatsumaki is not one to concede so easily. She tried to launch him into space but was only able to rise just a few feet off the ground. The strain was too much for her, and she started to bleed from her head. She passed out from the strain. However, Saitama was able to wake her up.
Tatsumaki told him that once she heals, she will do another surprise test like the one she did now. Saitama was very annoyed and had some colorful words for her. Fubuki showed up once more, wanting to fight Tatsumaki, but she changed her mind about her subordinates. All is well with the Psychic Sisters now. Fubuki conspired with Mr. McCoy to sweep the events under the rug.
She spread parts of monster carcasses all around the battlefield. Then claimed that a pack of Demon-level monsters attacked the Hero Association HQ, and Tatsumaki repelled them singlehandedly. Since the cameras were already offline, there was no way to refute her claim. This caused Tatsumaki’s ratings to go way up. She even landed a commercial gig to recruit potential heroes.
The commercial was an instant hit. However, Tatsumaki was not pleased. They used AI to alter the footage and made her look “Cute.” Furthermore, there seems to be a new entity at play. They have been secretly recruiting heroes to start a new Hero Association. No other details are known as of now, but it looks like they have already recruited quite an army of the newer generation of heroes.
One Punch Man Spoilers – What To Expect From Chapter 185?
In One Punch Man Chapter 185, the new Hero Association will probably reveal itself. At the moment, we do not know how many heroes they recruited. We know that they have already recruited Vigilante Group Hunters and Super Sumo. Furthermore, we also know they contacted several S-Rank heroes in secret. Just who are they, and why are the people soo trusting of them?
Since Genos was also approached, we might get some intel on the inner working of this new group. Since Saitama did not receive one, as far as we know, at least Genos is unlikely to join. Saitama is his master, after all. Unless, of course, Saitama asks him to join their cause. From the looks of it, this might be an excellent opportunity for him. For all heroes, for that matter.
