The One Piece franchise has consistently expanded beyond manga and anime, offering fans exciting projects year after year. One of the most anticipated developments was One Piece Base, a dedicated application released in Japan in 2024. However, international fans were left wondering when they would get access to this new platform.
That wait has finally ended. On February 25, 2025, One Piece Base made its global debut, giving fans worldwide a new way to engage with the beloved series. The app launched on both major app stores and came with a unique feature designed to immerse users deeper into the One Piece universe.
Create Your Own Eiichiro Oda-Style Wanted Poster
A standout feature of One Piece Base is the One Piece Portrait Generator. This tool allows users to create custom Wanted Posters in the signature style of Eiichiro Oda. Fans can upload or take a picture, answer a few personality-based questions, and receive a customized bounty poster based on their responses.
To celebrate the global release, the app is offering two free Portrait Generator Conversion Tickets. This special giveaway runs until March 25, 2025, at 23:59 PST, and users must claim their tickets within 30 days. After that, they will no longer be available.
Read the One Piece Manga Through the App
Beyond the portrait generator, One Piece Base serves as a manga hub, allowing fans to access all 107 volumes of the series. However, only the first 12 volumes are available for free. To unlock additional chapters, fans must use rental tickets or purchase them with the in-app currency, Berries.
There are two types of rental tickets available:
Red (General Rental Ticket): Can be used on any volume.
Green (Volume Rental Ticket): Only works on a specific volume.
Using Berries for Rentals and Purchases
Berries, the app’s virtual currency, offer another way to unlock new content. Fans can visit the Shop section to check pricing for different packs of Berries and purchase conversion tickets. However, rental tickets are currently unavailable for direct purchase, meaning users must rely on Berries to access locked volumes.
Since the app has just launched globally, additional features and improvements are expected over time. While fans wait for updates, they can enjoy the portrait generator and compete for the highest bounty.
