Last week’s hint suggested about Wings of Pirate King, Zoro and Sanji, and it was accurate.
Hint for Chapter 1188:
This hint could mean, how Luffy played around with Kaido in Gear 5, that is probably how he is going to do with Imu’s attacks. This is an early hint, so please take it with a grain of salt, might not be 100% accurate as it is bound to happen.
Status: Confirmed, Luffy starts out the chapter all funny but ends bad.

Gunko is finally freed and is now out of ice, still unconscious.
Imu uses new a new attack, which is pretty much like Daifuku’s Genie powers.

The sword attack which Imu uses is called VOID, the same which Mihawk uses in Pirate Warriors One Piece game.

Chapter 925 was titled “Void” but was written directly in katakana (ブランク). Therefore, it was read and translated the same way.
Chapter 1,188 is not actually titled “Void” directly, as the title has kanjis and katakana. The kanjis do translate as void, but their reading in katakana is not “Void” (it’s another one that they won’t let me say for now). Therefore, the title would not be read as “Void”.
To explain with a recent example, it is a title similar to that of Chapter 1,180. In that case, the title in katakana was “Omen” (オーメン) which is how it’s read. While the kanjis used (魔気) were translated as “diabolical energy”. But the title was read as “Omen” because of the katakana.
This week something similar happens, the kanjis translate as “Void” but the title is read a different way in katakana.
It reads somewhat like Void Sword / Sword of the Void.

In this chapter, Joy Boy is in Imu’s flashback that lasts for 1 page and only shows the lower half of his smiling face, and it looks like copy to copy like Luffy.

ONE PIECE 1188 SPOILERS SUMMARY
One Piece Chapter 1188 – VOID
The chapter starts with Imu remembering Joyboy. We can see the bottom part of Joyboy’s face while he is laughing, which looks a lot like Luffy, and Imu says, “That’s right, Joyboy is already dead.”
Imu attacks Luffy, but Luffy dodges it by moving his head, lol. But funny enough, Imu’s hand follows Luffy’s head and smacks him so hard that he crashes into the ground.
Luffy is really angry and tries to punch Imu, but he dodges it effortlessly.
Luffy is outmatched and outclassed against Imu in this chapter.
Imu uses Omen fire bombs to attack Luffy, and Luffy is running in a funny, Looney Tunes way.
Luffy says, “Who is that chasing me? That’s a demon, lol.” Luffy uses Gomu Gomu Jet Gatling.
Luffy transforms into Gomu Gomu no Demon God, I think?
The text is unclear, but he looks like a genie and says, “Don’t think I did not see you fighting Loki,” and that he knows his moves.
Luffy says his death won’t be in vain, lmao, and Loki is screaming, “I’m alive, you idiot!” Luffy waves at Loki and says, “Whoa, you are alive, Loki.”
Imu uses Omen fire again to attack Loki, and Ragnir is shaking while standing in the way.
Loki tells Ragnir to move out of the way, and Jinbei uses Kyojin Karate to deflect Imu’s attack and help Ragnir and Loki.
Jinbei and Luffy talk a bit. Luffy is so proud of Jinbei, Loki is saying, “What a show-off,” and Ragnir is super impressed with Jinbei.
Brook says that no one is supposed to be above the Holy Knights and it should be the Five Elders, but it must be the captain of the Holy Knights.
Brook doesn’t know that Imu is the king of the world, and Brook says the World Government is a mysterious organization.
The ice has melted enough and Shuri is free; they are pulling her out. Imu thinks that Gunko could not break the ice. Calling out Gunko, Princess Shuri, and that afro guy is quite surprising, and Imu seems concerned about Gunko.
Luffy uses an attack called Gomu Gomu Opening Bullet, and Imu uses fire and marks Luffy’s BEARD in Genie form, asking, “Were you watching what happened to that giant, Loki?”
Luffy transforms back into his normal person form, and his beard disappears. So does the fire, and Luffy runs away from the chasing fire.
Imu takes out a sword from the eye-like thingy on his back. He calls it the Void Sword. The forest is completely withered—we can see it—and Luffy is acting all stupid, not serious at all.
Imu, in disgust, tells Luffy, “I know you are not Joyboy, and if you were Joyboy, you wouldn’t be this weak.” Imu quickly reaches where Luffy is by sorta teleporting? I think by replacing where the fire was when it held Luffy, and Luffy gets stabbed, just like with CROCODILE.
