We see how Brook grow up and how/why he start following the King.

Growing up in a junkyard with very few opportunities.

Brook blamed the former King for his poverty-stricken childhood.

It was there that a 21-year-old Prince Rueven crossed paths with him, forming a friendship While keeping his royal identity a secret.

Later on, Prince Rueven, along with Candelle, rescued Brook from the Marines and took him into the castle.
