The ONE PIECE anime franchise is heading back to theaters with two new films. ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY will arrive in summer 2027, while ONE PIECE FILM BAAD is scheduled for 2029. The projects were announced at the conclusion of ONE PIECE DAY’26, adding two major theatrical events to the series’ future.

According to One Piece’s social media posts, GOD VALLEY will adapt the God Valley flashback from the ongoing Elbaph storyline. Meanwhile, BAAD has been announced without plot details, making it the more mysterious of the two upcoming movies.

ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY is planned as part of the manga’s 30th anniversary celebrations in 2027. The story is expected to bring one of the franchise’s most important historical events to the big screen, while the 2029 release of BAAD will coincide with the anime’s 30th anniversary.

The BAAD title logo was personally drawn by ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda. Official information about its story and characters has yet to be revealed.

The announcements came during ONE PIECE DAY’26, the franchise’s annual celebration event, as confirmed by the official ONE PIECE DAY website. With two theatrical films now scheduled, ONE PIECE fans have major new adventures to look forward to after the ongoing Elbaph Arc.
