Dokja and his adventures in the Constellation realm can never go smoothly. Firstly he was randomly invited to the Constellations Banquet, and now he got attacked on his way to the Banquet, forcing him to run the entire way. In Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, Chapter 166, we saw the reveal of the identity of the floating glass of wine, and then the fans were given something they never expected to happen, and that is the reveal of the true form of The Great Sage Heaven’s equal.
We also saw Bihyung after a long time which is also a pleasant surprise, and as the story goes deeper into the Constellations Banquet, we can only hope for more such amazing reveals and surprises!
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 166: Recap
The Sun Chariot has come to pick up Dokja, and Dokja gets on the Chariot, thinking that the owner must be Helios, but he instead finds a wine glass floating in the air. Dokja knows that the wine glass is just a symbolic identity, so he asks who he is.
The Wine glass gets disappointed that Dokja doesn’t recognize him as a message pops up saying, “The God of Wine and Ecstacy is disappointed in you.” Dokja asks the wine glass if he’s Dionysus which makes him shocked. He asks Dokja not to use his real name so casually.
Dokja asks Dionysus why he’s in this form, and he replies that it is to avoid plausibility. Dokja thinks that it’s better for him, too, because he won’t be standing in front of Constellation’s real form even if he used the fourth wall.
Dionysus says that it’s their first time meeting, and so he introduces himself and says that he is famous in Dokja’s country as an energy drink.
Dionysus and Dokja chat for some time on their way, and Dionysus tries to persuade Dokja to come to his side by taking the fable “Bacchus’s Head worshipper,” but Dokja refuses every time. Dokja asks Dionysus to stop fooling around and state the real purpose of his coming to pick Dokja.
Dionysus gets impressed at Dokja’s intellect and says that he doesn’t want him to come to Olympus. Dokja gets shocked to hear this, but before Dionysus can explain further, the Chariot gets attacked.
Dionysus asks Dokja to make a run for the Constellation’s Banquet and tells him not to trust anyone. Dokja finally arrives at the Banquet hall, but the Dokkaebi guard doesn’t allow him to enter as they didn’t hear about an Incarnation coming alone.
Suddenly a voice comes from inside, saying that Dokja is with him. As the gate slowly opens and all the features of the identity become clear, Dokja realizes that it’s none other than The Great Sage Heaven’s Equal!
The Great Sage Heaven’s Equal grins and disappears. Dokja enters the hall and gets overwhelmed as all the Constellations start looking at him. Dokja gets frozen even with the use of the fourth wall, and he wonders if he’s the only one in this place who’s not a Constellation.
Suddenly someone holds Dokja’s hand and pulls him away while apologizing to the Constellations. Dokja sees that it’s Bihyung who pulled him away, and Bihyung asks him why he came alone when the Queen of the underworld sent someone to get him.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 167: Spoilers
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 167 will witness the entry of Dokja into the infamous “Reincarnation waiting room,” the place where Joonghyuk used to stay during his regressions. He will meet Joonghyuk and other strong reincarnations from various countries like the Seoul Dome, Washington Dome, Moscow Dome, and New Delhi Dome.
We will also see Bihyung acting as a representative of the low-level Dokkaebis and introducing everyone to the egg in which Dokja placed the soul of Shin Sooyung.
