Obsidian Bride: Chapter 9 Recap
In the previous chapter of Obsidian Bride, the administrator comes forward and tells the jewels about a new event where the male jewels can duel against each other for the opportunity to go on a date with two female jewels. Obsidian has had romantic encounters with Alexanderite and Platinum so far, and her feelings are in conflict with each other.
Alex and Platinum, along with Garnet, will be dueling each other, and the possibility of one of them winning and asking Obsidian for a date is unnerving. Obsidian still has not sorted her feelings out and what she wants.
Platinum finds himself retreating and Alex carefully assesses the situation. He concludes that either Garnet is overwhelmingly strong or Platinum is weaker than he had expected. Alex launches an attack at Platinum to assess his strength and Platinum asks if he is trying to attack the weaker person.
Platinum is offended and he tells Alex that he shouldn’t look down on this body while swiftly attacking him and catching Alex off guard. Garnet asks if they had assembled to make it easier for him, and he attacks them. Alex and Platinum decide to cooperate with each other to take Garnet down, but they keep being pushed back.
Alex comes up with a plan for Platinum to attack Garnet from above since Garnet’s real body is tall, so he doesn’t have much experience defending from above. This strategy works well as they throw Garnet off the podium.
