As we saw in the previous chapter, the protagonist begins by reflecting on a day when he was transformed. Rather than obey orders, he defies expectations, venturing outside to explore. Despite this, the protagonist is determined to keep up appearances, playing the role of the ideal heir for a girl who embodies the ideal princess, even though his father is concerned about his newfound independence.
As Duke Nassar Avriden enters the scene, tension rises as he questions the protagonist’s absence. Despite the father’s suggestion that the engagement be broken off to protect the family’s reputation, the protagonist rebels, expressing his weariness with palace life. As the protagonist strives for a simpler life, he makes a significant decision to move to the South Palace.
They aim to recover a national treasure held by Lady Rosanne by moving closer to Princess Ellensia for investigation, as well as bringing them closer to the princess. As the protagonist seeks fame among the elite, he signals a move from a confined palace life to one that is more comfortable and independent.
There is a blend of defiance, family tension, and pursuit of personal identity as the chapter unfolds. Let’s see when chapter 47 of No Place for the Fake Princess will be released, the timings, and where to read it.
Recap
“No Place for the Fake Princess” marks a major change in the main character’s life in chapter 46. Suddenly, they stopped caring about what other people thought of them and started acting differently. Despite not openly opposing their father’s wishes, they started ignoring rules and sometimes doing things their way. Their father noticed this change and was not pleased with it.
It was hard for him to do anything about his son’s arrogance. Even with this internal change, the main character continued to act like everything was normal, especially for a princess who was supposed to be perfect. A significant figure, Nassar Avriden, came looking for the main character one day. The Duke questioned why they weren’t helping search for the fake princess, hinting that consequences might follow.
The main character’s dad then suggested canceling the engagement with the fake princess to protect the family’s reputation. A different plan was made by the main character, who wanted to live life on his terms and was tired of the palace routine. They moved to the South Palace to make things even more complicated.
To conduct an investigation and recover a lost national treasure, a ring held by Lady Rosanne, the main character moved closer to Princess Ellensia. In doing all this, the main character hoped he would become famous among the elite. During their planning, they considered the consequences of losing the national treasure and the upcoming palace ceremony, where Lady Rosanne would be recognized as a high-class guest.
The main character was worried about potential punishment if their true identity as a ‘fake princess’ was revealed. However, when Jeremia interrupts the main character’s thoughts with a slap, the story takes an unexpected turn. Chaos followed, and the main character determined to give the smackback. Phil voiced worries about the protagonist’s mental state.
This chapter’s main character makes a life-changing decision. Despite this, they act as though nothing is out of the ordinary because their dad is furious and a daughter is meant to be the ideal princess. Things get more problematic when the main character is questioned by Duke Nassar Avriden, a powerful person, about why he didn’t help uncover the phony princess.
The father of the main character advises calling off the engagement with the fictitious princess to preserve the family’s reputation. The main character, however, chooses to relocate to the South Palace because they wish to live their life as they see proper. The main character moved to be near Princess Ellensia for investigations and to retrieve a ring, a lost national treasure, in the hopes of becoming well-known among influential people.
Their biggest worries are about what would occur if they misplace the national treasure and if it is discovered that they are a phony princess. Just as things are becoming intense, Jeremia slaps them away. At the end of the chapter, Phil worries about the welfare of the main character. The main guy promises to give the slap back since he thinks it’s unfair. The chapter is filled with many shifts, confrontations, and unanticipated happenings.
