Nintendo Switch 2 buyers in the UK now know exactly how much the console will cost after its upcoming price increase. Nintendo Store UK confirmed that the standard Nintendo Switch 2 price will rise from £395.99 to £419.99 on September 1, 2026, marking a £24 increase.
The change follows Nintendo’s previously announced global price revisions. Nintendo had already confirmed in its financial materials that the Switch 2 would receive price increases in several markets during the fiscal year, with European pricing set to rise to €499.99 from September.

The UK price will increase to £419.99, while the Republic of Ireland will see the console rise from €469.99 to €499.99. The change means buyers in Ireland will pay €30 more, while the UK increase is slightly lower in monetary terms.
The updated pricing is expected to be reflected on the official Nintendo Store websites from September. Nintendo has also confirmed price increases in other regions, including the United States, where the Switch 2 will rise from $449.99 to $499.99 on the same date.
Nintendo has attributed its wider price revisions to changing market conditions and the global business environment. However, the company has not confirmed any additional Switch 2 price increases beyond the adjustments already announced.
