On the 26th, NewJeans‘ agency ADOR discussed their comeback plans through the fan communication app “Poning”. They disclosed that the group would release double singles in both Korea and Japan on May 24th and June 21st respectively. The May double single will feature the title track ‘Howw Sweet,’ the b-side track ‘Bubble Gum,’ and their respective instrumentals, totalling four tracks.
Meanwhile, the June double single will comprise the title track ‘Supernatural,’ the b-side track ‘Right Now,’ and their respective instrumentals, also totalling four tracks. Through these releases, NewJeans is set to make its official debut in Japan.
Debut Showcase and Fan Meeting
Following the release of the double singles, ADOR announced a fan meeting titled ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome’ scheduled for June 26th and 27th. This event will serve as a showcase stage for NewJeans’ debut activities in Japan, marking their first solo performance at Tokyo Dome in nearly two years since their debut.
The agency expressed gratitude for the opportunity to hold its first performance in Japan at such a prestigious venue, emphasizing its commitment to delivering exceptional performances to its fans, fondly referred to as the Bunnies.
Future Plans and World Tour Preparation
ADOR outlined NewJeans’ plans, stating their intention to use the upcoming fan meeting as a stepping stone for a world tour scheduled for 2025. However, they emphasized the importance of prioritizing the quality of performances over overly ambitious tour plans or schedules.
The agency assured fans that they are focused on securing sufficient tracklists for optimal performances, as well as ensuring members’ practice time and condition management.
